Borealis hung wistfully around the edges of the arena, trying to peer in through the cracks in the boards, but all he could see was a whisk of black hair and the sheen of silver. Loud clangs and "a-ha!"s could be heard, and Borealis really wished whatever guy was in there would just hurry up and have it over with. He was itching to feel the blade in his hand, and the satisfaction of winning in his gut. He hadn't had a very good start to the day - all through breakfast he'd worn the shirt he'd worn the day before - and gotten pumpkin juice stains all over it. He'd only realized what the other guys were sniggering about when he went to the bathroom and looked in the mirror. He'd felt like an idiot, and now his mood was low.
((THATS GREAT! I dont put nearly that much. only about 3-5 sentinces)))
Farah http://www.polyvore.com/cgi/set?id=17... was sparring with a dummy, useing a standard issue sword (for thoose in Agrabah) she turned and tusted, jumping over and around Azin, who was trying to trip her. She Giggled when she fell and held Azim close "Azim! what were you thinking! I nearly stabbed you! Why your almost as bad as Abu"

((XD thanks I usually do the same as you but I just went crazy with that one, lol))
"Azim! What were you thinking..." Borealis cocked his head. He couldn't hear anything after that last word, but it sounded like... Borealis shook his head, then checked his watch. Okay, so this was taking too long. Borealis straightened his jacket, (view spoiler)and pushed open the doors to the Arena, storming in. But he stopped in his tracks. Twirling and thrusting in the middle of the Arena was a girl. A little monkey was skittering around her feet, chattering away.
"W-what..." Borealis suddenly felt really out of place.

Farah didnt see Borealis come in and countined sparing. Laughing as Azim climbed up onto her sholder and into her hat "Azim do you miss Abu?" She asked, remembering how Abu loved sleeping in her hats. Azim cittered from under he hat and didnt move. "Yes your right, I should take a break." She said and stuck her sword in the ground. Taking Her hat ( with Azim in it) off she pulled out a ribon and tried up her hair.
"Um..." Borealis cleared his throat awkwardly, not knowing what to do with his hands. He was used to seeing girls in dresses and being attacked by bandits and dragons, but not actually doing his job...or at least he liked to think of it that way. All the girls in his kingdom were basically damsels in distress 24/7. This was new.
"O hello." Farah greeted letting Azim go on her sholder and putting her hat back on. Whats your name? I'm Farah Ali. Pricess of Abgrabah." she said and picked up hr sword again, sticking it in its shelth (because she couldnt have done that before >.< )) Azim waved his hand (paw?) in frount of Farahs face "oh and this little rascal is Azim" she added.
Borealis shook his head, then straightened and held his arms straight to his sides. "I am Borealis, son of Queen Aurora and King Phillip, of the..." he realized for the first time in his life he had no idea what the name of his kingdom was. This was kind of sad. But not matter. Borealis's dignified stature wasn't ruffled in the least by this little stumble, and he just finished, "...son of Queen Aurora and King Phillip...yeah." He clicked his heels together, then relaxed.
Farah smiled "Oh, Ive heard storys about you. Your the one that fought the Araibian dragon. Thank you for that, I was helping with a manticore at that time. You may know my parents, Sultania Jasmine and Sultain Aladdin, Also known as Ali" She smirked "Would you like to spar? I'm tireing of these lifeless dummys"
"Oh, yeah, dragon...right that is kinda my - my thing...Hey, Ali - Mr. Ali? The director? So your dad's here, huh? Oh yeah fight, yes let me just get a blade..." Borealis swung his sword out of its sheath, and switched hands a few times to loosen him up. "But I warn you, I've never fought a girl before, just, you know, saved them, so... I'll go, um easy on you."
(oh wait he is?? i didnt know this >.<)
Farah shrugged "Dont go easy on me. I'm just like all the boys" She smirked. "I'm not afraid to take you down at all."
Farah shrugged "Dont go easy on me. I'm just like all the boys" She smirked. "I'm not afraid to take you down at all."
(XD yeah Mr. Ali, Mr. Eric and Elle, Aladdin, Eric, and Cinderella)
Borealis was taken back, but didn't want to show it. This girl was different, and he was interested. "Okay, well, let's fight!" And with that he lunged.

((Oops xD)
Azim jumped off Farah's shoulder and skittered up one of the dummys, chittering loudly. Farah laughed and sidestepped, taking out her sword.

((Lol))
Borealis narrowed his eyes and tried again, this time taking a different angle. He missed again. He vaulted over her, silently congratulating himself on his skill, then landed on all fours, like a cat behind her.

Farah grinned, throwing her sword in the air, flipping and spun and faced him and caught her sword. She wiped the hair from her face.
Borealis straightened and studied this girl. She was tougher than she seemed. Or, at least she was tougher than any girl he'd ever met. Borealis gave a sly grin, then tried feinting to the left, and stabbing to the right.
Farah winced and the sword hit her. Azin chittered louder and begain running around Borealis' feet. Farah laughed "Back off Azin"
Borealis grinned. He dodged a sword swing, then tried lunging from yet another angle. He missed.
Farah jumped and fliped over Borealis, pushing him down and holding her sword to his back.
Borealis blinked. He was staring at the dusty, sandy Arena floor, with his hands beside him and sword knocked a few feet away. What just happened? He tried standing up, but a sharp point was digging into the small of his back.
"Wow," Borealis said, as that was all he could think of.

Farah smirked. "I told you. I'm not just a girl." She laughed and stuck her sword back in its shealth as Azim climbed up her side and onto her shoulder. She bent down to help Borealis up.
"Thanks..." Borealis said as he brushed himself off and eyed the girl in front of him. No, she was definitely not like any of the girls in his kingdom. He decided he wanted to be friends with her.
"Well, if you can't beat 'em, join 'em," Borealis grinned, holding out his hand. "Good fight, you're really good!"

Farah shook his and and Azim climbed from her arm to his. "Thanks, and it looks like Azim likes you" Azim chittered and climbed onto his shoulder. Farah laughed at Azim and dropped her hand.
Farah laughed as Azim grabbed Borealis' finger and gently bt it. "Yeah, he really likes you. And Abu actualy found him. The little rascal had been stealing and I took him in, taught him how to be nice. Now we hide in the market togeather instead of alone.
Borealis laughed and took his finger away. "Well anyway...hey, where did you learn to fight like that? I'm only used to, well, me and the knights in my father's kingdom being able to really fight...is it very different in your kingdom?"
Farah smiled "well i wander the market. so i needed to learn basic protecion and eventualy i beacame better than most of the gaurds."
Borealis nodded, then looked around awkwardly. Then his face lit up with a mischievous smile. "Have you ever fought a dragon?"
Farah thought for a moment. "Once or twice. There arent many that bother us in Agrabah so I have no need to. But I do fight many other creatures, Gorgans, Manticores, Hydras, and many others that i cant think off of the top of my head. The only dragons that eer really bother us are Araibian dragons. Those are visious and extreamly hard to beat, unless of course you arent in the dessert."
Borealis nodded, then said, "Well, you wanna go see what the dragons in the Dragon Battling Arena are like? Unless of course you're too scared of a big, bad, fire breathing dragon?"
Farah rolled her eyes as Azim climbed onto her head, chittering away "Bet you cant take on a Hungarian Horntail" She said, smirking.
"Oh, you wish - I've been fighting dragons since I was eight! Now, c'mon, the Arena's this way..."
((Meet you at the Dragon Battling Arena?))
((Meet you at the Dragon Battling Arena?))
((yeah, im going to make her change. I need an escuse to make a outfit))
Farah rolled her eyes "Let me change real quick, and grab my real sword" she said before qwickly running to her cabin.
((im not even gonna post in the cabin, so meet you there))

((XD Kay, I'll have mine change too, so yeah meet ya))
"Right, I need to change, too, so meet you there!" Borealis answered as she sprinted away, then he hurried to his own Cabin.

Alex walked into the sword fighting arena. "Now this I could get used to," she said with a smirk. Her steps echoed throughout the room as she approached were the weapons are. She looked at them and smiled. "Not the best ever, but then again I have high expectations," she said aloud.
Alex pulled her own sword out of the side of her suitcase- she hadn't announced her arrival to anyone, she was just wandering. She hadn't found her room yet. Alex unsheathed her weapon and grinned. It was perfectly leveled, made by her uncle. "Now, if only I had someone to duel," she thought aloud.
No one but her family would dare fight her at home. All the kids her age at home wouldn't even approach her. It was a bit lonely, but she was used to it. Alex swiped her blade at a dummy's arm, accidentally ripping it off. "Oh I forget my own strength sometimes," she laughed.

James walked into the arena. He doesnt swordfish very often so he figured he could some practicing. His life mostly consisted of cooking and music. Not once has he ever gotten trained in sword fighting he just did it on his own. He walked over the rack of swords and picked up the one that he always used.
Alex sheathed her own sword and approached the swords hanging up on the wall. "Mortal made," she said aloud, observing the quality of the weapons. "Not as perfect as my uncle's," she said with a smirk. Alex's sword hung at her side. She turned around and noticed a boy in the room.
Alex approached him with her suitcase rolling behind her. "Hello. Who are you?" She asked, getting right to the point. Some people would say she looks intimidating. She was wearing black jeans with a light gray tee shirt, a black leather jacket on with black ankle boots. Her red hair was pulled into a ponytail, although part of her hair fell into her face.

James jumped when he heard the person talk. "My. You scared me." He said with a small laugh. "The names James. What about you?" He asked her with a smile. He noticed that she was rolling a suitcase around but decided not to say anything about at the momentn
Alex laughed. "Good to know I'm scary," she said with a sweet smile. "I could use that. Anyways, nice to meet you James. Everyone calls me Alex," she told James. Alex noticed James looking at her suitcase. "Just got here. Parents shipped me off," she rolled her eyes. "I just love to be around them," Alex said sarcastically.
She never did like being around her parents. There was too much pressure to be like them, and all she wanted was to be her own person. Free of expectations to be just like them plus it was awkward talking to them. Alex normally kept to herself and listened to music when she wasn't allowed at Olympus.

James laughed a little at her sarcasm, which he was use to because of his cabin mates. Both Erebus and Rogue tended to speak every other sentence with sarcasm. "Unlike you i actually like to be around my parents. I use to work at there restaurant all the time, cooking and singing. Got shipped here when i got myself stuck in the middle of some voodoo magic stuff." He shrugged and rubbed the back of his neck.
Alex's face flushed a light pink- unnoticeable unless someone was looking closely at her. "Well considering I practically grew up away from home, they're almost.. strangers in a way. I have never been close with them," she admitted, shrugging. Alex was puzzled for a second, trying to figure out who James' parents were. Her face showed her realization when she saw the resemblance. "Ah, Tiana, right?" she asked. Alex couldn't remember Tiana's husband's name.
Alex raised an eyebrow. "Cook and sing? Dang. I can't cook for the life of me. I always end up burning it. No matter what it is.. It's really bizarre, now that I think about it," she realized, pondering about her frequent occurrence with fire in the kitchen. Alex shrugged again, dismissing her thoughts. "Anyways, it seems like we both got into some trouble before we left home," Alex said with a smirk.

"Yes, Tianna and Naveen." He in confirmation. "Yes cooking and singing. I got a little bit of both of my parents in me." He said with a small laugh. "Who might your parents be? Or parent. I could probably figure it out but im not very good with names usually." He admitted. He helps out so many people and talks to so many people that sometimes he mixes up names or forgets them. "You got into some trouble? What kind of trouble did you get yourself suck in?" James also tended to be a bit curious too.
"I've been told I'm more like my dad physically and I have my mother's personality," Alex stated. She looked down, not really wanting to talk about her parents. She looked back up, and began to speak. "I.. don't really feel comfortable telling people who my parents are. There's just so much discrimination and expectations that come with be related to them, for both villains and heroes. Plus there's the favoritism heroes children receive, and it's just rude, I think. Not everyone can choose their circumstances and we shouldn't focus much on where we come from, we should focus on where we're headed. I'm sorry if it bugs you, not knowing," she said truthfully, never breaking eye contact. She just wanted him to understand.. she didn't know why though.
"They were more mental and emotion troubles," she mumbled, implying that she didn't want to talk about it.
