>>>Obsidiani take a stroll through the park, after pointing the demon in the direction of the hunter gathering. I catch sight of an elf, who looks friendly enough. I walk over, and say,
"aren't you going to play with your friends?"
((Sorry, I was just suddenly busy!))
"Why does that matter to you? I don't have any friends here. Just my sister. And all her friends." Willow wondered why this creature was asking her this.
"Why does that matter to you? I don't have any friends here. Just my sister. And all her friends." Willow wondered why this creature was asking her this.
"i care for all mythical beings. i have protected all of mythical kind for centuries, but the elves have managed to earn my highest respect. do you know who i am? or what, for that matter?"
((Yes, very sorry!))
"I'm afraid I do not know you. I don't know many people. I guess I'm very unsociable and don't know many people. I'm very sorry, but..." Willow trailed off her sentence.

"it's alright, not many people know me." i sit, and take a deep breath. "i am Obsidian, the invincible golem."
"Hey, Obsidian! I'm Willow. Barely anyone knows me. I don't tend to show up in largely crowded areas. So you're a Golem? Cool, I'm an Elf!" Willow seemed interested in this Golem.
"Nope...Are you a horseman of the apocalypse?" Willow asked.
i laugh at the notion, but not unkindly. "no, little one, but i have fought the most powerful of the horsemen... death."
"Wow! Amazing! Well, I guess I'll never face anyone like Death...That would be quite an adventure!" Willow was very interested in Obsidian and his life!
"I love adventures! I love to face any bad creatures in the forest!" Willow was always hungry for adventure, so she told Obsidian.
"well, for one, adventures usually take a long time to complete. and then, there are all sorts of villains trying to injure you."
"Exactly! That's the whole idea. You have to conquer your fears and your obstacles!" Willow exclaimed.
"Right" Willow nodded in a wise manner. "I am pretty good with defense, but better with power and strength. I'll practice my defense skills when I return home!"
Ten minutes later, her sister ran up to her and said
"Lets go home, sis!" Willow replied,
"Okay, then!" then she turned to Obsidian.
"I have to go now. I hope to meet you soon, Obsidian! It's been a pleasure talking!" and she held out her hand to shake his.

(nobody)Bellins LeRoux looked around. this place looked perfect.
"r u sure about this, Bells," asked her brother Andrez, "I don't like this."
"Dray, I told u," she said, "We are staying. This place isn't dangerous, right Fae?"
Faenia looked around. She closed her eyes and concentrated. Then she looked at Bell. "This place seems fine. Besides, it isn't like anyone can even try and hurt Bell."
Somehow, this didn't seem 2 reassure Dray. He was about to step forward and look around, when Fae put her arm in front of him. "Wait," she said and he froze. They'd learned long ago to trust her instincts. "What is it," he asked.
"We're being watched."
"Come out," she called louder, "We aren't an enemy. Just trying to find a home."
((Yay! Hey can you use full words please? You don't have to, but its easier for me to read :))
Clare had been walking when she saw the new comers. At first she thought she was in the clear, but then one called for her. She had only been watching them for a little while! That girl was good. She walked out from behind a tree and then leaned against it, "I know you are not the enemy, but I am. At least that's what everyone tells me. Then again going around sucking the life out of people, you get that reputation right?" She asked smoothly as she looked down at her nails and then up at the people, "Trying to find a home huh? Well you have to live for a while to get a home. Welcome to the Haven."

((Cas: Oh yeah its my fault that you tried to KILL ME))
((Clare: Hey in my defense you are very annoying. And you intruded on my home!))
Dray looked at Bell like see, a girl who literally sucks out life. I told you this place was dangerous! But Fae glared at him. She never glared. It was like a mean Bell, or a carefree Dray- plain-old strange.
"It's fine," she called to the girl, "It isn't your fault. Besides, Bell is immune to that kind of thing, and Dray hates people. You aren't an enemy.I'm Faenia LeRoux, by the way, and these are my siblings Andrez and Bellins."
Dray stared at her like Why are you telling this strange girl who we are? She stared back, like It's fine. She's safe
"Naturally. All girls are immune to my powers. You see, I am a Lamia. I work in wonderful and scary ways. My power only works on males. I think. Yes it does." She nodded, "Its actually quite useful sometimes. One kiss and the person is dead, but it doesn't work on girls. I don't know why its rather boring once you think about. The point is I am not a touchy-feel kind of person. Actually the only person out of you three that I can and would actually hurt is the boy." She said as she looked at her nails. She looked back at them and then smiled, "And I wouldn't trust you on saying I was not your enemy. The fact is, I'm everyone's enemy." She had learned that a long time ago. When she was born. "My own people wanted to feed me to the dogs. They thought I was a monster. Well, now I am. Embrace it why don't I? Now what are you?"
((Cas: I am not annoying and that isn't your house. Do you have your papers?))
((Clare: I AM NOT RENTING IT YOU!))
((Cas: Still don't see those papers))
((There is a Character Chat Thread just do you know))
((Clare: Your a boy right?))
((Clare: Your a boy right?))
((Yeah sorry just intruding again.))
((Cas: What do you think? I'm leaving I'm going to character chat))
((Cas: What do you think? I'm leaving I'm going to character chat))
((Lol its fine!))
(Clare: I am going to follow you!))
(Clare: I am going to follow you!))
Fae stepped forward. "Well, Bell is a were-cat, Dray is a werewolf, and we aren't sure what I am. Besides," she continued, "No outside magic can harm Bell, even if your powers did work on girls. But I can see your heart, lamia, and it isn't black- not even close."Dray looked at her like SHUT UP! She ignored him, and disappeared into the woods. She did that a lot. But she'd turn up. Eventually. Dray ran after her anyways.
Bell laughed. he'd never find Fae in there. She smiled and walked over. She wasn't sure why, but she liked this girl. Lamia. Whatever.
"Hey, so, like my sister said, I'm Bell," she looked at the girl for confirmation, but she didn't appear to have heard her, "Sorry about her, she's...strange, I guess, but she's honest and she knows things. I'm not sure what she was going on about, but I'm sure you understood her. So, what's your name, anyway?"
"Strange is normal around here. I was talking a dragon the other day, who was a kitten. The day before that I was fighting with a squirrel and a few weeks before that I was watching a golem and a demon rough it out." She said to her as she looked up at Bell, "Well your sister should know that black isn't as dark as she thinks it is. Its a shade not a color." She murmured. Her voice was smooth, and cool. Smug actually. She could hide the smugness in her voice so she would just end up sounding like the Snow Queen. "Don't be sorry about your sister, her instincts are good and her powers will come in handy if she wants to live around these parts. The Haven is safe for all creatures, but once you get inside you have to learn how to live without dying. Its hard, I will admit, but you either live or you die. Or, you become a monster like me, but no your a sweet one, you wouldn't hurt a fly. That may or maynot be a good thing." She looked at the tree. "I did understand her, I just don't think she understood me."
"Fae understands everyone, often better than they do themselves," she said, slightly irritated,"She can't read minds or anything, but she can see peoples hearts. She knows your true self better than you do. Also, you aren't fooling anyone with that cool-as-ice tone. My powers aren't as cool as Fae's, but I do know when I'm being lied to. If Fae trusts you, then I do too."
"She shouldn't trust me. No one should. You leave something of value with me, then I break it, sell it, betray you. Its just how I work." How she was raised to work. If she didn't get what she wanted how she wanted it she would lose. And she hated it now. "Once upon a time I was like you, I thought that everyone had some good in them. When they fed a kitten, but killed someone later, when they hurt me, but helped others. Now I know, it was just for themselves." She murmured
"You're lying. You don't believe that, not really. I told you, Fae knows your true self. She knows you'e trustworthy, that's good enough for me. I think she said more to you than she's ever said to anyone, except maybe me and Dray, and she never tells anyone our names, let alone even a hint of our powers. You're okay."
Clare looked at her and then shook her head, "Don't let yourself fully believe that Bell, your setting yourself up to be disappointed." She rubbed her arm and then shook her head, "People used to think that, but I always ended up killing and proving them wrong, its only a matter of time before the same happens to you."
"My sister already told you, you can't kill me," she laughed, "I'm good. You are trustworthy. You are not evil. Period. End of discussion. Moving on.
She never said that she was going to kill her. She said that she killed, but she never said she was going to kill her. She laughed a little and then looked at her, "Well aren't you a persistent one? Fine, moving on." She crooned.
"Where do people live and sleep around here," she asked, "We usually sleep in the woods but I told Dray, 'No way, bossy-boots, we are finding a real home and settling down. It isn't like they can find us here,' and he gave in. He knew I wouldn't back down until I got my way. Fae sided with me, and besides, it's been twelve years since they-" She froze. She'd said too much. She did trust this girl, but if Fae hadn't told her, it wasn't Bell's place to. Besides, the past was better left buried.
Clare shook her head and sighed, "There is a village not far from here. It has houses and homes for people like you. And there is also a hotel that you can stay in." She didnt pry on the twelve years thing. She was probably better off not knwoing. She leaned against the tree again and went back to her orginal dry tone and emtionless features. She was good at this, pretending to not care or listen while taking in every word and noting every detail. That was how she got by and she would not change that.
