Laura (laurasreviews) | 16 comments I've made a list of what I think are the best books to read after you've finished the Outlander Series with similar romantic, fantasy, adventure tales. What do you think? http://lauragerold.blogspot.com/2015/...

Diane | 1360 comments I tried to post a comment to your blog. but it didn't work out. If you have not read The Bronze Horseman (The Bronze Horseman, #1) by Paullina Simons you really must and add it to your list. You have some good ones on there that I have read and some that are on my TBR list and one I will have to check out. The Bronze Horseman is the only story that has captured me like Outlander. I find myself thinking about it again and again well after I have finished the series.

Elaine (shandorah) | 24 comments I love your list - thanks! Jeanette Baker is new to ne. Just bought Irish Lady! The only thing I would add is Laura Kinsale. I liked her books so much I read all of them at one fell swoop. Started with Flowers from the Storm. Enjoy!

Thank you so much! I keep an eye on this and I keep my Amazon Wish List up to date. :) And, let me reiterate, if you like the Outlander books and Susanna Kearsley, you will LOVE Laura Kinsale!

I'm off to get your new list!

Chelsea Trujillo | 3 comments My Husband bought me book one in that series a couple years ago Laura! It was between The Scottish Prisoner and Moby. He knew I was bummed about the delay and he looked up what others had read that was like Outlander. Sweet man! I almost cried at a certain point in the book (No Spoiler!) ... Do you know the one I'm talking about?

Debra Doggett (ddoggett) | 5 comments Great list. I loved Deborah Harkness' trilogy. She too had the right balance of history and character.

Vanessa Eden Patton (vanessaeden) | 549 comments I have tried to read Harkness' series A discovery of witches but I found it boring. I didn't make it far. perhaps I need to try it again

Deena | 175 comments Thanks for posting this - great list. I read several of these and out of all of them, I agree that The Bronze Horseman trilogy was the only one that I truly loved. I highly recommend it.

I listened to them on audiobook - think that makes a difference?

Mary Joseph-Alvarado | 195 comments I have read the Bethany Claire series and they are excellent. I have them on my Nook (I have books on Nook 1789 of them) and on my Kindle app using Kindle Unlimited I can read and return the books unless I want to buy them (saves on the bits). and I have over 500 hardcopies. If you are into paranormal romance...I love the League Series by Sherilyn Kenyon along with her Dark-Hunter, Dream Hunter WereHunter Series. I also love the Breeds series by Lora Leigh and The Argeneau Series by Lynsay Sands. In addition there is JR Ward's The Black Dagger Brotherhood. I wait ages for my favorite writers to come out with a new book. All great books. I give all of them 5 stars.
In case anyone is interested in the between space until book 9 and season 3 starts,

Harriet Schultz | 15 comments I hope you can add Legacy of the Highlands to the list.
This contemporary romantic suspense novel is based on Scottish history and was inspired by Outlander (which kindled my interest in the Highlands). It's on sale this week!
