Looking for the first mate who knows his true identity, already have an idea of what could’ve happened to their ship/crew mates, but can also brainstorm for more. Possible romance happens between him and first mate, or the person can be a girl and they have a sort of bitter relationship.

✘the title of captain wasn’t given to him by force or any other act, but by the fact his brother was “killed” in battle
✘was always the first mate, but he was the respect of the crew members- which certainly wasn’t something his brother could say
✘appointed his younger sister as first mate which stirred a bit of controversy on deck

✘often is too loyal, that it’s known as one of his only fatal flaws
✘has a large heart and always has an ear to listen to others problems, though now that he’s captain there’s less time to do so
✘certainly not a dictator, he always takes his first mate, and crew member’s opinions into consideration
✘voted captain he can often times become a little overly stressed and his temper that was always hidden underneath begins to show itself

Looking a younger brother and sister. Though the younger brother was “killed” maybe he ran off due to a threat or some other reason, or he survived the attack, and though a year has passed he has made his way back to the ship. Due to the crew’s general dislike for him he is allowed safety on deck, but he’s placed in the lowest of positions. And maybe there could also be a small gang that tried attacking the younger brother, which is why he ended up falling overboard if we go in the direction of him being “killed”

The “Prince” of Port Royal. 22. Bisexual- leans more towards men
✘being born to a very high standing family he’s earned the nickname of “prince” which is more for his snobbish behavior then his charisma
✘once had a fling with a pirate, and though his parents are none too strict that seemed to cross the line for them and they had the unsuspecting man hung
✘always seen with the girl on his arm he’s the the person every girl wants and every guy wants to be
✘has a fatal illness- been told he won’t live past thirty

@Kelly: great! How about we do the 'falling overboard' idea? Perhaps he was bullied/tormented on the ship as a child, and fell when he was about 6 years old, which would explain why they obviously thought he was dead. The royal navy brought him back to Port Royal & just left him on the docks, and he grew up a ruffian before finding his way back on board. Does that work?

Vengeful excaptain turned average pirate. Known as the Red Lark, she once had a ship of her own and was on the seas seeking revenge against the men who killed her family. She got tired of being in charge but could never truly leave the sea, so she swore feality to another captain and now serves him as a deckhand and hidden weapon. Maybe forced into a sort of arranged marriage with him? Loooots of enemies available for this darlin. Also possible love interest?

Jaimie Chung;
Thinking perhaps a citizen, perhaps an average mermaid...unsure at this point.

I was thinking either random meeting or perhaps, if @frootzilla is ok with it, he introduces them at somepoint (emma might use florentin as an info broker for her revenge things?? Just brainstormin) idk its totally up to you really, dont feel like pressured to do it or anything(:

@Kelly: I have an idea to change that up. You and Sea said they'd be born into pirate life? Something logical enough would've that their father was Captain, and yet some of his crew disliked him, but they stayed aboard because the looting was fun and good, etc. if you look up there in my spoiler I've pinned my RDJ charrie as very quiet and reserved. If some people tormented him, he wouldn't have said a word, just suffered quietly, which could give them a reason to pick on A) the youngest and B) the most quiet. Your character could have loud ally inherited the position when their father died. Am I making any sense?

Also maybe instead of their father dying he fell ill and is known to have hallucinations so when he recognized your guy as his son back on the ship my guy just assumed it's another one of his "vision" sort of things.

so Lennart and Benjamin are most probably going to be Merfolk and either one of them is the prince I claimed. And for Matthew he'll be a pirate (just a crew member).

Matthew's character's prob going to be this secretly drug-addicted, very dirty mouthed guy though. I mean he won't be a heartless guy, he cares a lot about everyone around him but like, if you tell him you feel horrible he'll probably give you some weed like "here smoke this you'll feel better" before offering any consolations
But if he's been RDJ young's friend for some time, he'll know better than to offer him drugs when he gets ill or weak

I'll try come up with more ideas for my characters and post 'em here somewhere soon

alessia my RDJ character is going to have been supposedly 'killed'/thrown overboard and drowned by a gang of pirates at the age of 9. It's kinda complex and all, but he'd going to try and find his siblings, but if he met Matthew when he was first on the streets of Port Royal and they've been friends for 8 years it could work???
I think they'd probably work pretty well together since my RDJ character isn't exactly the kindest person in the world and he's pretty cut off

okay that would make RDJ's character 17 now right? I was thinking of making Matthew's character around 19 so when they met he'd be around 11? He could be RDJ's older brother figure, even if it might be unlikely.

alessia yep! Yeah, that sounds superb! Yeah, he could be the figure. He's a genetically related brother to what Kelly and Fiend's characters are gonna be, so at some point he might get some nightmares or something that make him remember that he had siblings and he tried to drag Matthew along to find them?
Yeah, he's an orphan, unless if Kelly is going to make it that their father is now ill and incapable of captaining a ship so Kelly's character is captain, instead of their father dying.

Ah, but RDJ fc was separated from his family, yes? So he was raised like an orphan in his years away from his parents, right?
And another thing - was RDJ's character born from a pirate family? Or did he choose to become a pirate? Matthew's character is the latter (he only picked piracy because it was an easy way to make money and buy his beloved drugs).
