The Silk Road


I can see ahead
yet I never know what’s there
starvation I’ve passed
sandstorms I have encountered
Is it all worth it
for the small bit of money
given for the silk
the heat, thirst, hunger
storms that bury caravans
the burglars hiding
the burglars wait like vultures
to catch my smooth silk
still I journey on
past the unpredictable…….

now I have traded my silk
I got my money
now I will journey towards home
danger lies ahead

Nothing there
Nothing full filled
Nothing lost.... Maybe?
No.
Something is there
Something will always be there
What?

Find that special thing
It restart softly in your heart
