The temporary home for Hae and Yue in the Refuge. And 'house' doesn't describe it...it's huge! A mansion, to be specific. No, more like a manor. It has gardens and guest rooms, which they rent to students who need financial help.



CURRENT TENNANTS:

Orin stepped into the Kyuubi House garden. It was beautiful. He had never seen something this dazzling before.

He started exploring around and admiring the flowers, wanting to see what would happen if he ate one, and almost forgot about his original task.

Xena walked up to the house, "Maybe I'll find her here...." she said.

Orin stopped chewing on a daisy, and noticed Xena.

"Yeah, maybe I guess. Let's walk around... and eat flowe- I mean, let's find Yue!"

She smiled slightly, "Yep, you can eat flowers if you want, but, I'd be scared to know what would happen to you if the gardener found you." she said in an ominous voice.

"Oh.. Right... "

Orin shrugged a bit with a carefree expression.

"Ah well it doesn't really matter. I've been in trouble loads of times, so it's fine, " he laughed heartily.

He reached out his hand to Xena to accompany him in the maze of flowers to find Yue.

"HALT. WHO GOES THERE?" A voice made them pause in their footsteps as the students turned to come face to face with...

A very small chibi fox-like creature..? "AS THE KEEPER OF THE GARDEN, MAY I ASK WHO YOU ARE? OR PERHAPS...WHAT YOU ARE?"

Orin stopped chewing his pansies and turned around to face the small adorable creature.

"Oh.. uhh me? I'm a student at this school, and I'm a demon. And do you happen to be the one to grow these flowers? They're very tasty, especially the peony flower. They're all very pretty yet they taste really good. What do you do to them to make them this delicious?"

Orin paid no attention to the angry tone in the fox's voice, and continued to taste test the rest of the flowers.

"A-AH, THAT'S MISTRESS HAE'S FLOWERS YOU'RE EATING!!! YOU...!!!"

"Oi, Oi, Kon, what's all the ruckus?" a slightly annoyed voice echoed down from one of the many balconies. "Can you keep it down...?"

"M-MISS YUE! SOME AKUMA IS TRYING TO EAT THE FLOWERS!!!" the chibi fox flailed.

"Then get rid of them," she said lazily, going back to her book.

Xena shook her head, "No, no, please don't harm Orin, he just likes flowers, miss Yue, please I have urgent business I need to discuss with you." she said.

Orin stepped back from the harshness in Kon's tone and in a flash, he was gone.

He appeared hovering over and behind the little fox, and with red eyes, he said in a menacing voice with a bored stare, " YOU CALLED? YOU KNOW, YOU CAN NEVER GET ME I WILL NEVER - "

((Yeah! Jax should appear))

Xena was getting a bit annoyed, "Orin." she said quietly in a way that could turn someone to stone, "Osuwari." she said. ((Osuwari means 'sit' and should have an effect on Orin))

"C-CHOTTO! DON'T SIT ON MEEE!!!" Kon was flailing as the demon sat on command. "MISS YUE!!!"

A fox wisp appeared and suddenly disappeared as a black-haired girl with sharp lavender eyes appeared in a finely woven kimono. Obvious annoyance was prevalent in her eyes. After all, it was that time of year when her hair was the only idication of the changing moon, and a new moon was arriving soon. "If you would all please lower your voices," she said in a low tone. "I don't need to repeat, do I?"



* - the only reason why Yue-chan's in such a bad mood is because she gets weak every new moon but she has the most energy during the full moon. Plus, her hair changes in accordance with the moon's phases, so yep. Quick explanation.~

Orin sat down obediently, a bit taken aback from Xena's sudden mood change.

However, he wasn't told NOT to sit on the small creature, and while he was still in his rebellious mood, he decided to sit on him. ((or her))

As Yue appeared, he was in awe of her beauty, and her quiet, menacing voice. He prepared himself for something dangerous.

Yue sighed a bit, watching the chibi fox flail under Orin and finally pop out from underneath. "M-MISS YUE,-"

"I don't want to hear it right now," the raven beauty held her hand up, closing the book in her other hand. "You. You are?" she directed her attention to the tresspassers in the garden.

Orin gave a cheeky reply.

"Students of the Refuge. Is all. By the way, did you know that your gardener," pointing to the chibi animal, "is quite talented in the production of these flowers, and deserves a pay raise. If you pay him at all, really. They're really beautiful and pretty and they tast-"

"Orin, I didn't mean sit on the gardener." she said, sighing. She looked at miss Yue, "Yes, we are and I need you to explain to me what and where this is from." she said politely, showing her the necklace.

Orin sat glumly with a scowl and said, "so-rry~."

Then he noticed Xena showing off the necklace.

"Oh yeah! I almost forgot about that because the flowers were so good-"

She gave Orin a smile, before turning back to Miss Yue.

Kon puffed up a bit at the praise, but when he mentioned the taste of the flowers, he flailed. "T-THERE ARE BETTER FLOWERS TO EAT! JUST DON'T EAT THOSE NEXT TIME!!!"

Yue sighed, rubbing her forehead a bit. "I guess I could help you a bit..." her eyes suddenly lit up when she noticed the necklace. "Where...where did you get that?"

Orin grinned playfully,and waited for Xena to answer. Afterall, he was sleeping as she explained about her necklace.

"Like I said, I don't know where, I just have it..." she said, explaining.

Orin tried to help and said, " You can't remember anything right? Like you forgot all your memories, and somehow this necklace just magically appeared on your neck? maybe the necklace has something to do with your memories. Try taking it off...? Maybe your memories will come back or something..?"

Xena took off the necklace, nothing changed but the necklace gave off a sparkle. "Orin, I don't think that this necklace was a memory supressor, it's looks like a charm to ward off whoever attacked me, I've had a few memory flashes earlier in the classroom." she said. "Someone had attacked me and someone I knew and cared about had saved me. IO knew that I was almost dead but I don't know who saved me, it's like my memory was wiped clean of him." she said.

Yue's gaze seemed to soften as she coughed behind the back of her hand. "W-Well...it is familiar to me," she said in a softer tone, her eyes downcast.

"JUST LIKE THE ONE IN THE BOOK, MISS YUE!" Kon had hopped onto her shoulder excitedly.

Orin scratched his head as he lay on the sweet smelling grass.


"Hm.. I see... What did the 'someone' look like, and what was his personality like? Maybe that person goes to this Academy."

Orin directed his attention to Kon.

"And... book...? Tell us about it."

((Yup, that was my intent~ Sorry i haven't been on for quite a while. I've been sick and having tests like crazy...D:))

Yue shot a look at Kon, who hid behind Orion, then closed her eyes, rubbing the necklace between her fingers. "A chronicle...my chronicle. Ahh, this is going to be troublesome," she opened her eyes and stared at Orin and Xena. "What did you say your name was again?"

Orin picked up the small fox, and petted his soft fur.

" Orin. And she," pointing to Xena, " is Xena. We're students of the Academy. What do you mean chronicle?"

Kon was about to protest, but the way he was being stroked...he just couldn't say no.

Yue motioned for them to follow her into the main house. "I feel that this will be a long story, so why don't you two come in for some tea?" she gave a gentle smile.

Orin placed the small fox on his head as he stood up. He made sure his balance was steady so the small animal would not fall. He had taken a liking to Kon.

Orin smiled and said," That'd be nice, thanks! And we're not in any sort of rush, so take your time."

Xena nodded, "Yes please, thank you." she said, smiling as she followed Miss Yue into the house.

Yue directed them to a small kotatsu in the kitchen (its like a table but with a heater underneath for winters and it's warm) while she went to go get some tea from the storage. "Here," she came back and set down green tea before each of them. "Please, help yourselves." She also provided some mochi.

Xena took it and thanked her. She sipped her tea as she watched Miss Yue mill around.

Finally, Yue sat down with a slight sigh, but she didn't touch the tea or mochi. Drawing out the pendant from a hidden recess in her sleeve, she gently traced her finger on it, and the pendant started to glow lightly.

Orin made himself comfortable with the kotatsu, and stared intently at the glowing pendant.

He pointed and said, " It seems to react heavily based on your actions. "

Xena watched silently, "What's it doing?" she asked softly while she sipped her tea.

Yue closed her eyes, reveling in the warmth of the magatama pendant. "In the past...an old acquaintance of Hae-sama was an exorcist. He was called Susanoo." She suddenly pulled out a card from a deck of tarot cards that had appeared out of nowhere.

"Susanoo was an odd person, yet we both trusted his odd nature. He was ostracized from the other deities, but Hae-sama took him in. However, something happened, and Susanoo stole a third of Hae's power...and almost all of mine," Yue's lavender eyes had a golden glow to them as she flipped the card to its other side.

"This magatama...it was what he sealed our power in when he left..."
