Heather | 8550 comments Andrzej Wróblewski (15 June 1927 - 23 March 1957) was a Polish figurative painter who died in a mountaineering accident in 1957 when he was only 29. He is recognized by many as one of Poland's most prominent artists in the early post World War II era, creating distinctly individualistic approach to representational art.

Heather | 8550 comments That is a very interesting article, Karl. Maybe I'm less knowledgeable than many others, but I am not sure what 'colorism' is. When I looked it up, it seems to be related to skin color. Is this true in art?

I admit, I've never heard of this artist and though his work seems a bit macabre, I like it! Thank you for introducing it.
