I just finished this and I liked it. The Tourette's stuff is really interesting and it's not too heavy on the Mormon stuff
I started the book tonight I've only made it through the introduction so far, but it seems like it's going to be an interesting read.
I'm about halfway through and it puts me right to sleep. I'm not exactly sure why, but I just can't focus on this guy's story. So far, there's not enough medical detail for it to be technically interesting, there doesn't seem to be any real hardship, and the rest of his story isn't particularly extraordinary. Just me?
I'm up to around page 70. He just got diagnosed. It's holding my interest so far, though I only read it a bit here and there.

It held my interest but it's not earthshaking. Just kind of a low key book about a low key guy who happens to love books and can't stop punching himself in the face. I watched one of his youtube videos and it's so hard to watch it and not think it's fake. People must think he's nuts when they see him. I find it fascinating that someone with Tourette's would choose to work somewhere so quiet.

We will be meeting to discuss the book over lunch at Alma Nove in Hingham on Sunday August 30th. You can find the event details on our group page. RSVP here: https://www.goodreads.com/event/show/...
Even if you can't make the event, you can post your thoughts on the book here in this discussion topic.
