Ah, so this is what another one of Silas’ days would look like. Stuffed in an overheated house with a bunch of strangers that his parents would claim were really close friends. Maybe later he’d also be scolded for his anti-social attitude, and then he'd have to summon the urge to care. During these events he usually had a blond clinging to his arm to entertain him. While the clinging was no doubt a hindrance, the company was just fine. Being alone in a sea full of people was not. Sighing he glanced around the room cringing as he saw his mother point his way, with her hand on some girls shoulder. Cringing he saw only two options to handle the situation. Embrace the situation with another one of his dazzling fake smiles, or pretend he didn’t see his mother’s gesture and get the hell away from this house. Of course he went for the later.

Getting through the crowded main room was rather difficult process, especially when it was so clear he was in a hurry and trying to get away from someone. Once outside he took in a breath of fresh air, his pace quickened as he made his way towards the back of the house before practically running down the street. Silas didn’t want to risk the chance of being seen out of one of the back windows and having to be called back inside like a wandering nine year old boy. Due to the fact it was still early in the afternoon he decided it would be best to skip out on Tavern, as the only people who would frequent such a place at this hour would be the usual drunkards. Sighing he decided on the beach. Maybe there he could chat up some cute blond lady. True, Silas preferred boys, but he wasn’t a fan of rumors. Having people talk about him always put a smile on his face, whether the conversation be negative or positive, but his sexuality really shouldn’t be made into small talk. That and he enjoyed pretending he had it all when anyone who knew him, knew he clearly didn’t.

Just before he reached the sandy shores he yanked off of his shoes, and in seconds he was plopped down in the sand. His gaze traveled the expanse of the beach and he was quite disappointed to see there wasn’t anyone who caught his eye. Eventually he grew bored and leaned back reaching into his pocket. Some would say he was certainly over dressed in his suite, to be at the beach- but he learned to ignore the curious glances. Instead he focused on the precise way he rolled up his tobacco before he lit it up with a match, his hands shaking slightly before relaxing all at the same time.
