If you would like to jump on board with the first ever official recommendation topic (I'm excited) then post your video talking about books that you feel are underrated! This could be a book that you feel has not gotten the love it deserves on booktube, book blogs, or just in general. Any books that you feel needs a little more love and recognition go ahead and shout it out. You can recommend as many books as you want. Whether you have 2 or 10 to talk about, that's cool. This month will be a little different since booktubeathon is going on and we will be posting between August 10-16 to allow everyone to focus on whatever videos they would like to contribute to booktubeathon. We will be posting the first full week of each month in the future. Thanks for dropping by and we are so excited to see what you recommend!

Don't forget to link your video or blog post in the thread for sharing! https://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/...

Mandy (mandylee14) | 2 comments I think the underrated book of my choice is falling into place by Amy Zhang the book is about a girl who wants to commit suicide and she very smart so it has a lot of technical words but it works in this book I think it's a good story for mental illness as a person with depression the book does a good job portraying depression and suicide but a warning it has trigger warnings
By the way my name is amanda I'm 21 but people also call me Mandy and I'm interested is seeing other people's underrated books

Mandy, I've heard of Falling Into Place a few times but your description has me really interested. I'm always on the lookout for a good mental health read! Welcome to the group!

I loved Falling Into Place!

Aoife (aoifeluna) | 14 comments The Ashes series by Ilsa J Bick is extremely underrated. I've hardly heard anyone talk about it. The same with two series by Sarah Rees Brennan - The Demon's Lexicon and The Lynburn Legacy. Both are really good!

Frannie Pan (frannie_pan13) | 2 comments Gosh, I have so many underrated books!
For instance, a new book/series I've found and am totally obsessed with now: Every breath by Ellie Marney. Good lord, it is AWESOME. It has that Sherlock vibe and the two main characters are just MAN, ALL THE FEELS! :D

Alyxandria Ang (alyxandriaang) | 1 comments Oh wow this sounds so cool! Hope that I have time to film a video in the month of August!

You had me at Sherlock vibe!

Frannie Pan (frannie_pan13) | 2 comments I know, right?! Like, whenever the name "Sherlock" comes up I'm all like: GIMME, GIVE IT TO ME NOW!
But seriously, this one was SO good! Fast paced, not predictable at all and pretty original for a YA! Plus, the new US covers are to die for!

message 11: by Aria (new)

Aria (ariamialoberti) I have done an underrated books video (https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=tLBl6nz...#), but I've actually had a small, growing list of other books that I wish I'd added. Therefore, I hope to jump onboard this topic!

This book is relaxed with upload times. We do not want any of the members to feel stressed to pump out a video on a certain date. Thank you so much for sharing!
