I'm currently reading The Island of Dr. Moreau by H.G. Wells. I kind of wonder if at that time people actually thought the kind of science Dr. Moreau does on his island (stichting together animals with human parts) might be a possibility? Or if it was just a fun(?) thought to them as well.
I like the writing style so far and I prefer this story to The Time Machine. Wasn't too taken with that..

I finished
(Sweden) and it was amazing. Even though it had close to 600 pages it was a really quick and captivating read. Definitely recommendable.
I also finished
(France) and it was a really cute and touching graphic novel.
Then I finished
(UK) which was really not my cup of tea. The style and idea is definitely not something I've read before but it was a little too violent and dark for me.
Then I decided to add some fairytales to my TBR and read
(Denmark) which I really enjoyed. I also plan to read The Ugly Duckling by Hans Christian Andersen tomorrow.
And I'm currently listening to
which just feels weird and it has so many weird words in it and I really despise the main character.
But yay for the Booktube-a-thon ;)

I'm currently reading The Picture of Dorian Gray and Sense and Sensibility. I don't know if I'll have much time to read this month because I'n travelling, but I'd like to at least finish these two.

I'm currently about halfway into the Shadow Of The Wind, taking my time with it, but it's absolutely beautiful!

loved the writing and the story 5/5 stars+favourite
Currently reading the gracekeepers by kirsty logan (who is from the uk) so far it's really good as well!

The Gracekeepers - so beautiful! 5/5 stars+fave
&
Peter Pan - mixed feelings, liked the story, but did have some problems with it.. 3/5 stars

I've only managed a third of the latest Amis novel. I am not sure what to make of it so far. It seems disjointed, no forward momentum, but of course the writing is always technically excellent, as one would expect from Amis.
