This is a thread for anyone and everyone to pitch in and tell us about what their ideas and collaborations are. Closer to the roleplay, we will organize all the ideas into one big plot ready to be rped and carried out, with as many characters involved as possible.

Alright I know how you don't want them to fight between kingdoms, so maybe we could have like barbarians or something? Or something that would cause them to have to use their powers to defend themselves.

Well actually Rivereth and Asteria are at war, but yes, in general they don't fight. That's an interesting thought though. :D

Emma: if you don't mind me asking, what happens when people from the opposing kingdoms meet? Is it just tension? Thank you :P

Lol, um that's actually a good question. What I was thinking (And you can let me know whether this idea is total crap or not) is that there's actually a battlefront area in one of the wastelands between kingdoms. That's where any fighting will be happening, for the most part, and if you want your character involved in that or not it's your own choice. Um if they were meeting otherwise it would be for trade or court things between diplomats, for the most part, and I think trading would have likely ceased? But it depends on the character and their personality/viewpoint on the war whether it's tense or an assassination attempt.

Because as a guy I know we like action! Girls are more character relationship and share of emotions(girls, please don't kill me). Like we could also have shops and places in the city? Like personally I would love to be a doctor or blacksmith! But in a time like this there could be a lot! Also it would be cool if there was a map of this place! It might limit expansion(I dont think it would) but it would be cool to see the when people live and who you're neighbors are.
Again just ideas! I don't mind being rejected or having my ideas changed.

I personally don't think trading is a good idea if they were rivals but I guess its always possible for the kingdoms to send one of their own into the other kingdom to spy and stuff. The way I see it, both the kingdoms are closed off in isolation you know, like they care only about themselves, theyre very separated (this is just the way I see it, it could all be bs idea too XD)

Problem with a map-- Since this whole group was my original idea it would mean I would either have to draw or edit it (something I'm really not good at. Angel did say the general location of all the kingdoms though, if that helps.

And for jobs, it does function like todays society, just on a smaller scale, so there would be less factories. So the doctor option is totally open.

The way I was looking at it was that, for the most part they only care about themselves, but they would sometimes need things from other kingdoms. For example healers would have the best medecine, and technos would have the best technology. So that's where trade would come in, but on a fairly small scale.

(Replying to myself) Then again if there are shops then there would have to be money and it would become too complicated to keep track of everything!

Well how would you buy things?
Why do people need to buy weapons if there's an guard?
Well there are other things to buy other than weapons. But is everything free?

Sorry about that! It would be super tough though! Only way I know to keep track is have an allowance for them. You would also be able to give allowance based on their jobs?
But then that would be complicated, remember we want this group to be big! If there are +100 people here we would need a to check every one?
There might be a way to leave it to the store owners? Like 2 free items or services a week?

Baa- OMG really? Only like, if you want to though. Like really really actually want to spend your time drawing a map.

Sneha- Well, no one's going to shoot anything down here at least not right away Honestly I'm just trying to figure out what to do for this plot and I'm really worried that the idea sounds good but in reality it's not and everything is going to crash and burn.

Emma: Well. . . I can't draw a map, but I can certainly get a an outline of the U.S.A and edit things in like lines/names of places/the battlefront/trade routes -- if you're olay with that? :)

Also! I don't really know if this could be of any use, but what if the girl that was sent to Rivereth was the bastard child of the King? Like, he had an affair with another woman years ago, had a child -- I guess this would be more of a collab plot than anything -- but I was wondering if that could be possible? >.>

Still have to finish my character, but I have a question anyway.

Are there any, like..rogues? Where they leave their own kingdoms and just live in the land in between?

Hey Emma remember I suggested the Benders/elementals be loacated in california area instead of miami. I listed reasons out then, I can fish out that post if you like.

I only thing I find weird is the uber asian people in Miami which by the way will be the first thing underwater in the post-apocalyptic world I feel like they should be in California where all four Elements would be naturally found; Volcanoes, ocean, huge mountains, and all sorts of air. Also there is not really a lot of room in Miami for a kingdom especially one large enough to be at war with someone... I live in Florida btw most of it is swamp. Also could be some plot that California was abandoned by western civilization and recolonized by an Asian, south pacific population.

Also I would make more sense to have the warring factions be near each other.

I Love maps and geography and can help with any needed information, as to what resources would be available in what areas. What water sources would be viable and where population masses would settle in the aftermath and what people would make the most sense in a place.

My favoirte kind of storytelling usually is place and location first then the characters are created out of that world.

I am also a naturalist and can answer any questions about habitat and ecology of places, also how climate would be or have changed over that lenght of time.

There are maps available to choose from I will do some searching and list them weather they are based on sea level rise, which I think make the most interesting maps or based on neucular war remains which would have the most wastelands

Um. . . if I may . . . what I had in mind for the map is that we'd use a plain map (view spoiler)[http://0.tqn.com/d/geography/1/0/A/H/... (hide spoiler)] and make our own boundaries/limitations using lines, and then dotted lines for trading routes, stars for the kingdoms (and their names, obviously), and then the names of sources of water that aren't made from the Elementals and. . . yeah. And make the battlefront and whatnot.

I don't know, I think a map is made to simplify for those who understand things better with visual aid. . .

That's what I had in mind, anyway. Anything Emma wants, Emma gets. xP

I would like a rebellious Lord like the character I mentioned. That would be cool, almost like Kingdom of thrones if you have a few characters like Aedwedian cause trouble in the Kingdoms. No world is truly complete without a little chaos mixed into the fold!

We are collabing some insane family drama in the shifter royals collab, kidnapping, secrets, assassinations, and apparently Quintyn the Prince wants to burn down a village? It is just musing right now I think but just saying in case mods wanted to read some of it.

What about major troubles within the mental's kingdom, an opposing lord seeking vengeance against his or her King? A rebellion so to say.
