I have found the thread! Soon, I will be reading Two Serious Ladies by Jane Bowles.

It has already started On Fcebook where we are a small group re-reading Barbara Pym's "Crampton Hodnet". We started a week ago and have just reached the end of chapter 3.Join us if you wish. Just look for the page "Reading Together".

Think I'm going to start off with something light, Pomfret Towers by Angela Thirkell--haven't been able to concentrate on much lately.

Finished up 'Pomfret Towers' which, for me, was not one of Thirkell's better efforts--three stars. Next up will be G.B. Stern's The Matriarch, though I have a couple of library books to get to first.

Next up is Mrs Palfrey at the Claremont - on holiday for two weeks so brought a box of 'green spines' with me.

Sounds wonderful, Ellen - Mrs. Palfrey is such a sweet story. Have a fabulous 'green' holiday!

Wonderful to see all this - and sorry I dropped off the radar...I am continuing my Kay Boyle explorations with My next bride, which is fantastic. I thoroughly recommend any of her books for future VMC reads
