Fiddler and his drum (or rather Fid and Hedge's drum). I love this entire scene and this line, Fiddler's drum. No better announcement imaginable, that the Malazans were here.

The Kenryll'ah demons farming story really cracked me up - if only they didn't kill Uru Hela - it would've been more of a comedy.

Urgh, a chapter with Triban Gnol's POV - left a bad taste in my mouth.

I am really beginning to hate the Errant in this book.

My heart breaks every time we peek into Rhulad's mind. This entire family is just too tragic for words.
