I was saving this book for this category, knowing it was due out in July. This book is the latest in a series of books by this author that takes place on another planet in the distant future of Earth. The characters are all descendants of colonists of the planet who were caught after a "curtain" fell, and made it impossible for the people to return to Earth. This book does not go deeply into the past of the colonists, and those who have not read the series might not know the background, but it is not necessary to enjoy the book.
The book is fun, and like the others, filled with romance and intrigue. You do have to suspend disbelief with many of the points...like in the future would we have cell phones, and internet...but, it is a good addition to Castle's book list. (BTW, for those who did not know, this is one of the pseudonyms of Jayne Ann Krantz...who also writes under Amanda Quick.
