2015 Reading Challenge [Closed] discussion

I read 'The Color Purple' for my book with a colour in the title and absolutely fell in love with it. I just thought the story was beautifully written and told, the characters were incredible and all three dimensional, and the book had a lot of life philosophies that really resonated with me. I'm so glad I picked this book because it's now my favourite book!

Ditto, Francesca. I didn't expect to love this book as much as I did - it totally captivated me. The characters were so well developed & so well written, and I just adored it.

This was also my choice for week 39, and I agree with you. It's a beautiful book, and it's some of the most enjoyable characters I've met this year.
