Loved it or hated it?

I haven't read it, been waiting for someone to see if it was well done. Worth it? I'm dying to find out some secrets about the most mysterious, emotionally confusing character in Clare's world. Also, when is it set?

Absolutely worth it! Each story is set in a different time, going back to his early life, up to the most current of the other books. I think Magnus is my favorite character from Clare's world.
