Kelly, what gave you the idea of Cinder & Ella?

Actually I've always wanted to do a Cinderella novel. It was just a matter of deciding how I wanted to do it. Then for a few years I had this scene in my head of these two people meeting at a convention that was basically the FantasyCon scene in Cinder & Ella, I just didn't have a story to go with it. Once I thought of the online relationship idea, all the pieces sort of fell into place.
