When the carriage stopped, Miles led Ace by the hand out of the carriage. Lacy glared at ace's back and got out on her own.
Quinn followed behind Lacy. "Not as glamorous your place but..""What kind of rich snob has horses?" Ace asked
"Them." She pointed at the brothers."And its not my place. I have my own little house thanks. I'd Die if I lived with Archer." She crossed her arms at Quinn
He shrugged, "Didn't know. Sorry." He shut up because he knew he was getting to close to being considered nice.
"Its fine." lacy sighed.Miles let Ace pick her own horse. He saddled up his horse
Ace climbed saddle up the white horse she picked and climbed on without Miles help.
Miles climbed on his bay horse and rode up beside her.Lacy picked out a dapple gray, saddled up and got on. She rode to her friends. Meaning not Quinn.
((lol, Lacy))Quinn saddled his horse and rode for them.
"So which way?" Ace asked Miles
"Let's just ride. Get lost." He smiled mischievously.Lacy nudged her horse as far from Quinn as possible
"I am aren't I?" He teased and led the way to a trail in the woods. Lacy trotted beside Ace.
"I could use one of these things to run away." She joked
"You could." Ace smiled, "But I wouldn't go after you."
"I'm wounded. But I kinda figured. Since Miles would still be here." She winked
Ace blushed almost the same color as her hair. "Shut up."
"I have Erik. You have Miles. Double date." She grinned
"Its not a date." Ace said trying to hold back her smile but failing badly.
"Not for me either." She made a face at Quinns bacl
Ace's smile faded, "We can leave if you want."
"No. Go for him. He likes you. You owe me." She shrugged and slowed down so she could catch up to a waiting Miles
"Thanks." Ace smiled and caught up with Miles
Miles smiled."Hi."
Lacy rode beside Quinn. Still ignoring him
"Hey." Ace smiled back.Quinn glanced over at Lacy, "Sorry."
"So? What'd you two talk about?" He smiled knowingly. He'd heard them
"Anything." Ace said, "Within reasons." she said quickly."Lots of things." Quinn shrugged, "Mostly for being a dick."
Lacy snorted."Can't change who you are. You are who you are." She quoted
"Oh? What are these reasons?" He prodded still smiling at her
"Trying to be nice." he muttered"Things I want to tell you." she stuck out her tongue.
She sighed."I'm sorry. But when someone's a dick, I'll be one right back."
"Rather not." she said"Noted." he smiled
"Please." He pouted."truce then?" She offered
(((soorrry didn't see DX))"Fine." Quinn agreed
"Nope, not even your cute puppy face works on me." Ace teased
"Really? You are tough!" Miles chuckled."So...any plan to get out of this?" Lacy finally looked at him
"Like a rock." she smiled"Our engagement?" he asked, "No clue. I don't openly oppose my father like you." he said as a sort of compliment.
"Thanks? I hate him. And I didn't know he was my dad till a few weeks ago. He killed my family. And killed my baby. I was pregnant." She explained
"Oh hush." Ace galloped ahead."You were pregnant?" he askd
"Yep. Last night he killed my baby. And hurt Erik. He's still in the cells. I guess he wanted me to be as pure as possible for you." She sighed, opening up
"I'm sorry." Quinn said seriously."Its not a race because I'm winning." Ace laughed
He moved to a run."Not anymore your not!"
"Just drop it." She shook her head and wiped her eyes
Quinn nodded, "Umm...want to go inside?" he asked her."Not fair!" Ace said and ran after him.
"Inside? Like in your house?" She thought bout it."Sure."
"Alls fair in love and war!" He kept racing
Quinn nodded and hopped off his horse and offered to help her down.Ace laughed and caught up with him
He smiled at her as they raced.Lacy looked down at him and swung a leg over the saddle. She let him help her down, accepting his help.
Ace got close enough to Miles's horse and shoved him a little.Quinn took the reigns of both horses leading them back to the stables.
