Message sent to all team leaders 2/20Hi team leaders, I just have a few reminders before the challenge starts!
Please make sure each member has a shelf for their books. As I said before your job is to make sure the members are reading group appropriate books. Any young adult and new adult book is fine. It can be paranormal, fantasy, dystopia, etc it just has to be YA and NA.
Please come up with a few days through out the week you will check in with your team to make sure everything is okay. You don't have to stay online all of the time, just long enough for your team to ask questions.
To make it easier for you to keep up with the team points, you can have your members create monthly folders. The books they read for that month will go in that folder as well as their over all challenge folder.
Remember we are here to have fun, so your team can do fun little games and challenges!
If you have any questions at anytime, just send me a message, or you can just post it in the chat and questions area. If you have a question for another team leader, or just want to chat you can do so in the chat and questions thread!

Update Posted in each team 2/24Hey guys, please only put books you have already read on you main botb shelf. If you have books that are on your shelf that you have not read, please remove them. You can create a botb to read shelf if you would like to plan ahead. Sorry for not telling you guys this in the beginning.
Update posted in each team 2/23Hey everyone, all books that you read must be at least 100 pages. If you have one that you have already read, that is fine it will count. But from now on, they must be at least 100 pages.
The Rewind ChallengeIn this challenge we will look back on some really great books that were published in 2013 and prier.
Each team can divide all eight of these up as you wish. The first team that reads all eight books will ern bragging rights for the first botb challenge.
1. Read a book that you got for free in 2013.
2. Read one book that was published in 2012.
3. Read a book that was published in 2013 or erlier, but you never got around to.
4. The person that has been a member of Goodreads the longest, must read a book that was published the year you joinned.
5. Read a book that has been on your to-read shelf the longest.
6. Read a book that was published in 2010.
7. Recommend a book to one of your team members that was published in 2013 or erlier.
8. Read a book by a favorite author that was published in 2013 or erlier. (re-reads count!)

Hi everyone! I have formed teams! Please go here to see what team you are in. Chat and Questions
After you find out what team you are in, please go to that teams thread, and chek in.
Once you check in, please log in the battle of the books widget that is located on the home page. A link to the widget is also at the top of each teams thread.
(Note: You do not have to create a shelf. When you log into the widget, it will create a shelf for you.
Please make sure your shelf is called "botb 2014" You can add the group title if you wish, or any other word that you want, but it must say "botb 2014 some where in the title.
Once all of your teamates check in on your teams thread, Please come up with a team capton, and a team name.
If your profile is private, you must friend request your team capton and myself.
Remember all books MUST be group appropriate. If you are not sure please ask your team or your team capton.
If you will be out, or on vacation or anything like that you must notify your team capton. (If we try to contact you and you do not respond, we will kno why.)
Please note that you MUST log at least one book each month to remain in the challenge. If you do not read at least one book, you will be removed from the challenge. If you can not read one book because of helth or personal issues, you must let your team capton know. You will only get to skip a month once. So, please use it wisely.
Please reply to this message letting me know that you agree to all of the rules. Please reply within 3 days. If you fale to reply within that time frame you will be removed from the challenge.
Some of the rules may seem harsh, but this is a team challenge. And it is not fair to your team to not do your part to help your team win.
The team that reads the most books in 2014 will when a prize. The member out of all of the teams that read the most books will win an additional prize.
Please note that once all team members chekc in, you may not for any reason comment in another teams thread. However, you may use the chat and questions area to chat with other teams.
