The books are even better bro(I guess seen as I never saw the series)they actually are freaking awesome the whole series is great! Westerns don't get better! enjoy.
You should see 'em. Or even OPEN RANGE or BROKEN TRAIL. His characteristics and mannerisms are so good. He absolutely nails it. I'd be hard pressed to name anyone who ever played a part so well. Love it!
Although Westerns are not really one of my genres, I believe I could read
. Heard good things about that one.

I'm more of a Clint Eastwood fan myself but I like John Wayne also.
Same goes for Eastwood. All that stuff has been on TV so much over the years and especially here lately. I like it a lot, just wouldn't be interested in reading it.
I think Westerns are my fav. movies, three that spring to mind are1. The Wild Bunch - bit of a no-brainer.
2. The Long Riders - well worth a watch
3.Hombre.
I like the spaghetti westerns but I like 3.10 to Yuma as well. If never watched those you mentioned Sean so I'll have to download them. I wouldn't be into reading them either Chuck except that I've heard nothing but good review s about True Grit so that ones a bit tempting.
