Travis said,'Are all the X-titles just mushed together and they assume you are reading all 32 of them?'It is starting to look like that. It's all a big stew.
William wrote: "Well, much as I like a lot of what he does, I guess that's what happens when you put Bendis in overall control - he has BIG ideas, sometimes too big.P.S. I can't wait to get reading the new Uncan..."
Bendis is a good at street level characters. I really enjoyed his Ultimate Spider-man.
I don't really think he's good at big and cosmic and his current obsession with time travel isn't working for me.
William wrote: "Euch, I generally hate time travel, it has a habit of sucking all the importance out of the present!"I like time travel as much as the next guy, but not as the center of every big comic book story.
Mix it up a little. Fight a guy who is trying to rob a bank, just for the novelty of it.

That was a mess.
the people on the cover don't do much, there's 14 other X-characters involved, of which about three get identified, the new arc is smack dab in the middle of some other big story and no one was written distinctly enough so you could tell half of them apart.
How was that a jumping on point? Shame, as I'd heard good things about Wood and thought the X-women idea would be interesting.
Are all the X-titles just mushed together and they assume you are reading all 32 of them?
