Also, some of the members of the LASFS Goodreads group still post things individually. So, it's fairly easy to connect with the individuals and bypass the currently-stuck group. It might be possible to add yourself to the group without the approval of the former moderator, too. I believe that would work.
Plus, you really should come to the club itself and meet people, if you're in the Los Angeles area.

I must admit that I'm nervous about promoting my book to a group like LASFS. This is my first--and probably only--novel. But if Shrodinger's cat is neither dead nor alive until it is observed, I guess you could say that a book doesn't really exist until it's read! (Actually, I have had enough readers to earn my first royalty check on the Kindle edition, but I haven't had many sales since then.)
In any case, I invite you to take advantage of the promotion.
