Study Buddies discussion

Ok, this has been bugging me. In Fire Study, Bavol Cacao tells Yelena that all the Councillors had children etc. kidnapped, and there are eleven Clans. Eleven councillors= eleven hostages, HOWEVER, you say that eleven people come out of the barn during the fire: ten children and Kell Greenblade. But we know that Gale Stormdance was still in the barn with Valek, so what I'm confused about is who the extra person is, and where they came from. Have I missed something completely obvious?

Hmmm...I'd thought I mentioned that they captured two children from one of the councilors in the story(instead of one), but I see I didn't - guess you caught a mistake! Sorry about that!

Hi Maria! I was reading Poison Study (again) yesterday, and I was just wondering: who would win in a fight between Ari and Janco? Because Ari's very strong, so might be able to disarm Janco through brute force, but Janco might be quick enough to avoid him. They're both skilled swordsmen, but they both have different strengths. It was just a random thought, but I've envisioned a fight between them several times in my head, and I can never seem to pick a winner. Who do you think would win?

It would be a drawl! They know each other so well that they know each other's tricks and strengths and weaknesses, that they'd fight until they collapsed from fatigue before a winner would ever be declared!
