Any books to suggest of this genre?

Romantic suspense is any genre romance that features a prominent mystery, suspense or thriller plot.

Even I'd like to read more from this genre...I've only read one : The Guardian by Nicholas Sparks and I absolutely loved it! That got me super interested in reading romantic suspense...

Srividya Vijapure (theinkedmermaid) Christy Reece and her Last Chance Rescue series is good. It is on my TBR but got pushed because of other books. But I have heard her books are good, you can try them.

Another author I have heard of but not read is B J Daniels. She also writes romantic suspense.

message 6: by Constance (new)

Constance Bretes I like some of BJ Daniels books. They are usually centered around places in Montana.

Srividya Vijapure (theinkedmermaid) Not really romantic suspense but has a lot of thriler elements in it.. The KGI series by Maya Banks. Another good one is Lora Leigh's Tempting SEALs series as well as her ELite Ops series. Both have a good story line.

I currently read authors like Allison Brennen, Lisa Jackson and Catherine Coulter. I have a few others that I follow as well. While waiting for new books from these authors, I look for new authors that I might enjoy. I found a book that I enjoyed but I can't remember the title or author. I am new to online groups and am not sure exactly how to participate. Am I allowed to ask if anyone can help me find the name and author of the book I read and only know the plot to? I also am very excited to be a part of a group where other people share my passion for reading. Thanks in advance for any tips or help on getting started.

If you want to find the title of the the book which you can't remember, you can try creating a thread in this folder. We'll see what the group members suggest. To get started, you can visit this thread. Everything's explained in detail there!

Indiabookstore | 14 comments These are all really great suggestions! I'll be sure to pick up some of these authors the next time I go to the bookstore. I've read Nicholas Sparks and Julia Quinn. Both interesting.

L.J. Taylor (ljtaylorbooks) | 5 comments When I think of romantic suspense, I think of Nora Roberts writing both as herself and as J.D. Robb.

I also write romantic suspense. Check out my romantic suspense novel Just Dreams. Just Dreams by L.J. Taylor 99 cents through 12/5/14 and then $2.99.

Love is a dirty word and passion has no place in the world of high-profile litigation.

Sparks fly when attorney Kathy Brooks agrees to represent novelist Charles Morgan, Jr. in a high-profile suit against a powerful government defense contractor. But when Charles’ hidden agenda threatens to expose the government’s dirty little secrets, what started out as the case of a lifetime could cost Kathy her heart, her career and even her life.

Charles doesn’t just want to win the lawsuit. He wants to destroy the company responsible for his wife’s death. His enemies, however, will stop at nothing to make the case go away – and that includes blackmail, kidnapping, and murder.

As the body count rises and the stakes get higher, Charles and Kathy will have to decide just how much they’re willing to sacrifice for the win. To get justice, they’ll have to put it all out on the line - including each other - and it still might not be enough.

I've been reading the I-Team Series by Pamela Clare lately. I'm currently on the fourth book. In fact, the previous comment itself is about the first book of the series. The books are an amazing mixture of romance and suspense! Give them a try!
