I'm currently read this book : The Time Traveler's Wife by Audrey Niffenegger and what better than this to fit Time Travel Romance??:)

Kat Desi (katdesiwrites) | 64 comments I love that book!

Anyway, I haven't come across a lot of time travel books but here is one I loved... it's also historical + western ;)

My Outlaw by Linda Lael Miller

Srividya Vijapure (theinkedmermaid) If you haven't read, you should read the The Outlander Series: Outlander / Dragonfly in Amber / Voyager / Drums of Autumn / The Fiery Cross / A Breath of Snow and Ashes / An Echo in the Bone. It has time travel and is also part historical. It is a fun read, although each book is huge. There are many who haven't liked it but I loved it. I ended up reading the first five books one after the other but the wait for the sixth was too long and now am currently re reading the first five. I have heard there are 8 books in this series.

Thanks for the reco....Sri:)

Srividya Vijapure (theinkedmermaid) Another one is Melissa Mayhue. Her daughters of the Glen series is wonderful. Its again part historical part fantasy I guess, although I am very bad at understanding the different categories of genres. :)

Wow...you've read a lot of books...:):P

message 8: by Srividya (new)

Srividya Vijapure (theinkedmermaid) Ya I love the romance genre and have read quite a lot of books. :)

message 9: by Roseanne (new)

Roseanne I started Outlander but I never finished it. This is the one book that bothers me that I did not like it. I love time travel and historical. It has everything but I just couldn't get into it. I gave up before I got to 10%.

message 10: by Srividya (new)

Srividya Vijapure (theinkedmermaid) Roseanne - A lot of people felt that way. Don't fret. The initial few pages takes a little time, because it is quite slow but once you are into the story, you are totally intrigued. A lot of people did not like Claire and found her selfish, which maybe she was but she was also strong and truly splendid. :)

message 11: by Roseanne (new)

Roseanne I keep saying I will try again someday but there are so many books I want to read that I have not gotten back to it. I keep thinking maybe if I read a little more. I know so many that love the series.

message 12: by Srividya (new)

Srividya Vijapure (theinkedmermaid) Ya I believe you should try it once again. Give it a few more pages, if you still don't like it, no worries but maybe things will change for you :) In any case, do so when you are in the mood for it, else it will be like forced reading and you will definitely end up hating it :)

I am getting ready to publish a time travel romance on Amazon, but am not sure where to mention it in Goodreads.

Can I suggest the one I'm getting ready to publish on Amazon?

Yes you can, Linda.

I'm starting outlander for the second time. Hopefully I'll stick to it this time! A lot of my friends and family love the series too and have been pushing it on me.

I just published two time-travel/fantasy romance books on Amazon that are also in the Kindle store. "The Necklace - The Dusky Club, June 1962" and the sequel, "The Necklace II - Back to Brighton, November 1962." The reviews, so far, have all been great. I just finished writing book #3 in the series. I apologize, Ipshita, for not being more active in this group. I read the posts, but have been spending most of my time writing. I would love to hear feedback on my books from this group.

That's fine, Linda. Good luck for your books!

Linda Rice | 22 comments If I had to pick a favorite time-travel romance, it would be "The Mirror" by Marlys Millhiser. I think I've read it 5 times.

message 21: by Nidhi (new)

Nidhi Bhatt | 31 comments Kerstin Gier's Ruby Red, Sapphire Blue and Emerald Green are great time travel books.

Also I just found City of Swords City of Swords (Stravaganza, #6) by Mary Hoffman blurb says its about time travel. I haven't read it yet.

message 22: by Jonalyn (new)

Jonalyn Cueto (jkcsparkle) | 1 comments I would like to suggest Once Only by D.L. Kelly. It's a time travel/romance/thriller and for YA audience. I think it's newly published.

Once Only: A story of growing up, falling in love, and getting married...a few times.

message 23: by Ora (new)

Ora (oeamis) My favorite time travel book is Forever Mine by Monica Burns
I love this book. It is a wonderful love story and also a tear jerker, especially the letters/journals at the end. I have already read 3 times since it has been released. I have not gotten tired of reading it and will probably reread it again sometime this year.

Please tell me it has a HEA. In a lot of Time Travel books, the coule get separated :/

message 25: by Ora (new)

Ora (oeamis) Yes it does :)

message 26: by Ora (new)

Ora (oeamis) Here is a copy of my review

I loved this book. It was a bit of a tear jerker, especially Nicholas Thornhill's journal entries. Essentially is a story about two people always finding their way back to each other regardless of time.

Definitely reading it then :)
