Here are all the categories of romance we'll be discussing in the group. Share you favorite books and well-known authors of these genres!

I don't know where to write this but I get so confused by what fall into the different categories of romance. Some things are easy to figure out but some I think fit into more than one category. Does anyone else feel unsure of what belongs in which category?

Me too.. I simply can't figure out different sub categories. So hope Ruchi forgives me if I post it in the wrong thread. I believe Ruchi, you should simply make one for general Romance or maybe we can use this thread for that and put all the things that we are not sure of here.. what say??

I also had difficulty with the sub-genres in the beginning. As a solution, if we add a suitable explanation in the beginning of the sub-genre that we would discuss, it might make it simpler to understand.

What about the ones that I think fit in more than one category?

@Roseanne : Decide which among the various sub-genres fits most, and choose that sub-genre. If you're commenting about a book in a particular sub-genre thread, state in the beginning all the sub-genres of the book.
