I have been reading her books since the 70s. I got kind of tired of some of the authors I have been reading -- books in their continuing series. To me they weren't as great as the beginning. I had ordered Danielle's new book Power Play and decided to order all her older and former books as many as I could from thriftbooks. I ordered as many as I could in large print editions which are easier on the eyes, especially reading at night. I already read Zoya, Echoes, Winners, the House on Hope Street, Big Girl, Bittersweet and almost finished with Jewels. I really am enjoying rereading her books. I did love Zoya; so good.

I am presently reading No Greater Love. I haven't read Fine Things and Silent Honor yet. Glad you like her books also. Jewels was very good also.

Ruth Clements I'm trying to find a book I read years and years ago (~1991 or earlier) and I'm not sure if Danielle Steel is the author, but I think she is. I think the main character was a wealthy disturbed woman named Sloan(e?) who lived in a big city (NYC?) and was addicted to anonymous sex...she'd lock eyes with a stranger and he'd follow her to some secluded spot and they'd have a quickie (can't believe I read this when I was a young teen but that's what comes of volunteering at the local library!). Anyway - this is where I might be mixing two books - but as I recall she ends up in Mexico or South America and pulls this routine with a matador. They end up having a sordid affair and he becomes physically abusive. Eventually she escapes back to America to...her husband? and maybe she's famous because I think there are paparazzi at the airport when she returns. Anyone??
