Shay (shaylyn318) | 66 comments Looking for some books with possessive heros but not cruel to the heroine. There is just something hot and sexy about a possessive hero. When he sees the heroine and another man talking, flirting or just standing too close. Or when another man notices how attractive the heroine is and he loses his mind wanting to beat the crap out of the guy lol.

Rosanna Leo (rosanna_leo) Great question, Shay, but I must be honest. I don't think I've read a romance book yet that doesn't possess this sort of hero. LOL What genre? Contemporary? PNR?

Shay (shaylyn318) | 66 comments I have read plenty where this situation never arises though. Either just because it never happens or because the other men are too scared to even look at the woman haha because the hero is the laird or whatever so they wouldn't dare. I especially like it when the other man purposely shows interest just to get a rise out of the hero. The genre doesn't matter as long as it is romance.

Just read a great one by Monette Michaels. From the get go in Weather The Storm (Security Specialists International, #3) by Monette Michaels the hero knows he wants the heroine and does all he can to protect her.

Rachel Annie (snapdragoness) A possessive hero in a contemporary romance: Storm Damages (Storm Damages, #1) by Magda Alexander .

Sonya Heaney This theme is literally in every single one of Christine Feehan's books. Also in Cynthia Eden's paranormal romances.

Pamela(AllHoney) (pamelap) | 14543 comments Lisa Marie Rice and Kristen Ashley both have possessive heroes. Uber alphas!

Shay (shaylyn318) | 66 comments I have read one of Kristen Ashley's books and it was very good I do plan on reading more. I have tried in the past to read one of Christine Feehan's books but couldn't get into it, will try again. Thanks.

Amy Jarecki (amyjarecki) | 20 comments Gideon Cross in Sylvia Day's Entwined With You (Crossfire Series) is about as possessive as they get! Entwined with You

Sonya Heaney I'm an idiot for forgetting Lisa Marie Rice! She also writes as Elizabeth Jennings. The hero of this one Shadows at Midnight by Elizabeth Jennings falls in love with the heroine in one country and organises a transfer to guard the embassy at the next country she moves to.
Super-stalker? Well, yeah. But the premise really sucked me in.

Not everyone manages to read Christine Feehan's books. They're a bit of an acquired taste, and I ran for the hills when I first tried!
I figure if you try a few from a couple of her different series and you're still not liking it, I wouldn't push it...
