Luke White lurked in the shadows of a huge willow tree. When the tree swayed, so did he. If a wold howled, he howled back. All of which was necessary to blend in with nature. Usally people think that this is his power, to blend in, camouflage or even invisiblity, but they were very wrong. If only Luke could be that pure, if only his powers could be that simple. Yet this was not the case. His powers and Luke himself were dark and foreboding, with no inch of light left where the shadows have taken over. Luke's power brought fear into people's heart. His power FED on people's fears and regrets, their depressions a guilt. Luke could see into your deepest, darkest most haunting memory and bring it all back to you 10 times more horrid than it already was. Why was he lurking there? That was a question that would be answered as soon as his target arrived. His target was a decorated noble who had overstepped his boundaries. He had orders to kill him in any ways and with any means possible. The only condition was that it must be obvious that The Great General Of Darkness, Gwidon, had brought about his death. There was no room for greedy, noble fools who laughed and challenged The General of Darkness's power and authority.

The man in question appeared along the path with three body guards, heavily armed and he himself on a well armoured horse, him clad in fine and expensive robes.
Luke smiled to himself. Perfect. Once the noble was dead the guards will be able to spread word if his death. No use in leaving the body in the forest to rot to a point that no one would know who the man was. '
This was going to b a simple kill. He took out the dagger that was given to him to accomplish the job. The dagger had the crest of the Dark General's Clan. A hooded reaper holding a scythe. Black and bold on the silver dagger's blade. Tied to the black hilt was a note. A note sentencing the noble to death for undermining the general and through him, The Dawn. No clearer message than that.
Luke threw the dagger with deadly accuracy. The dagger hit the man in the side of his neck were all the blood veins connected. Luke felt the man's life leave him. That was all he needed to see. He heared the faded shouts of alarm from the guards as they rushed to their fallen master, as Luke disappeared into the shadows, only to re-appear a few metres away on top of a tree, 7 hours later. That was how long it took him to travel through the shadow world. (Will explain more if you bother to ask) there he rested his head on a branch and fell into a his usual half-sleep. When he'd wake up he'd go collect his billion gold coins reward later, for now however, he slept.
