I'm horrible with geography-it's showing that India does NOT use daylight savings, correct?

@Bookalicious: yes, India is marked as orange so it shouldn't be using daylight savings, according to this map.

That's correct. India does NOT use DST. :)

Well, technically since DST is something real, actually used in the real world, books set in fantasy worlds shouldn't count for the challenge. Plus task #2 can be an opportunity to read books set in far away countries that we usually don't read of. Anyway, let's see what Kara says.

In many parts of the northern hemisphere, Daylight Savings Time begins in March. Below is a map showing the usage of Daylight Savings Time around the world. Blue is for areas currently using it, and red and orange areas do not.
