Yes, it can definitely be cooked on your BBQ grill. We made it for dinner tonight too, but this time I baked it in my oven (thundershowers outside so we couldn't use our grill!). Still very yummy! Oh! And I was out of peanut oil so I substituted olive oil.Let me know how yours turns out Ali. =)
Tammy, it is still marinading...(well I actually poured most of if off/put it in a glass jar and wrapped the Salmon in foil, for tomorrow) <-that's okay right...and pour it back on in the morning?
I went to see Zinedine 'Zidane and Friends' and had a great time at the game!
I am looking forward to BBQing tomorrow!
I will for sure let you know how I love it...it smells so good...I will definitely use that marinade on other things!
Thank you!

If you end up liking the marinade Ali, try it with ahi tuna steaks. I wrap them in bacon. Secure the bacon with toothpicks and then marinade the tuna for several hours. I like it even more so than the salmon.
Tammy, I loved this...I will make this more than Teriyaki Salmon...and using Tuna? Oh, my!
Thank you so much!

8 (4 oz) salmon fillets
1/2 c. peanut oil
4 T. soy sauce
4 T. balsamic vinegar
chopped green onions
3 tsp. brown sugar
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 1/2 tsp. ground ginger (I prefer fresh giner)
2 tsp. crushed red pepper flakes
1 tsp. sesame oil
1/2 tsp. salt
Place salmon in a glass dish. Combine all ingredients in a separate bowl. Whisk. Cover and marinade fish. (The recipe calls for 4-6 hours. I did it overnight - nice, strong flavor!)
Heat and lightly oil your grill. Cook salmon 10 minutes per inch of thickness. Turn over halfway thru cooking.
