For this month, I choose to read Armageddon Summer by Jane Yolen. This book is about a two teens that fall in love when they are sent to the top of a mountain to be saved from "Gods Wrath". The theme is, "never lose faith in the one you love, no matter what is to come". This book falls under the genre of mystery because you never know what's going to happen next or if the world is really going to end on Armageddon Day. I personally liked the book, even though it was kind of love story as well. It showed great promise from the start and I simply could not put the book down for a minute, I finished it in 2 days because I read it non-stop since it was so good."From what I heard, it looks like there's going to be a lot of people trying to get up here, soon. And not just people who've decided they don't want to be fried."(Pg 162) This quote indicates the scene in which people are going to get desperate and try to get saved. One of the many interesting parts in this story. If you pick up this book, I guarantee you that you will love it.
Good review! Sounds very interesting. I like the quote that you use in your review. It makes it look like that you actually read, understood, and enjoyed the book.
