Coven: Rising from the Ashes discussion

Here one of the Council members or Elders of the school will be awaiting for new arrivals. This is the registration area before being admitted into the Head Mistresses office for an interview.

Orlaith had left with a sinking feeling in her gut, one that had knotted and turned into butterflies many times over. She hoped the new guy for Myles job would be ok, he seemed rather nice despite their little mishap. She had to pass by the Foyer to get to her next glass and that is where she saw Julian looking like a little more than a lost lamb, but he seemed a little brighter today. She dodged some shoulders and averted her gaze from glares as she went over and tapped Julian on the shoulder, offering him a bright smile. Already he had a couple of girls fawning over him. So cute. "Hey, you ok? Are you lost cause I can show you the way before I head to class." She offered a little too enthusiastically, considering she was stalling herself from going to dwueling class.

Julian forwns, "The thing is I have no class schedule and no idea where I'm supposed to be...I mean can...or should I just go with you there?" He asks stilla pearing lost and as more and more attractive girls walked by gawking at him he seemed to not even notice the attention he was receiving as if other things interested him apart form girls. He gives ORlaith a kind smile.

Orlaith's nods in understanding, realising why he was missing a schedule. "Ah right, I forgot. Silly me. In order for you to be properly educated the Supreme has to interview you an kind of get a taste for your powers. Once that is done she can then properly sort out the specific classes that would best excel you in the world of magic. But seeing as she is out on business it would seem you can't start proper classes just yet, but yes... If you accompany me to my classes you can get a tour and a taste all at the same time." She beamed, but then it hit her and her smile faltered slightly. "That way you can ease yourself into learning instead of feeling overwhelmed. Don't worry you won't have to do anything you don't want, the teacher may offer you a go at things but because you haven't got a schedule right now you can just say yes or no to things." Looking at her watch she chewed on her bottom lip. "Come on follow me, I have dwelling class first." The grip on her text books going white even though she was smiling. She beckoned him to follow as she lead him down the hall.

Julian follows closely behind. He was unsure as to what to expect ina dueling class but it oculd be fun.

Orlaith frowned. "I fear that if you take him away something terrible will happen. I feel like he might do something reckless." She told him, enjoying the cool feeling against her temple. She feared a lot of things and she really didn't want to find any of them out. Once they reached the school she got out of the car, helped with her moped and gave Stefan a pat on the shoulder. "I hope all goes well with you." She smiled softly before turning to go find her brother.

Stefan gives a light nod. He grabs her by the shoulder hard and turns her to him, "Wait...If I never get to see you again." He leans down gently cupping her cheek with hsi soft and strong hand. He leans down his lips gently pressing tightly with ehrs for what seemed like forever as his lips openw ithers gently and his tongue slides onto her tongue. He pulls back after such ferocious hunger and passion. he was clealry hungry, but even mre so he controlled it jsut for that one last kiss with Orlaith. His other hand was seemingly holding hers. He pulls bakc as her hadn gently slides form hsi own. "I love you." He syas far mroe passionate than what Myles could ever eman. He was no brother to Orlaith and he made it very clear.

Orlaith was taken by surprise when he spun her around to face him, but was even more taken back when she felt warm lips against her own. She melted in an instant, giving a little whimper of desire to continue, but good things couldn't last forever she knew that which as why it hurt to pull away. Her cheeks were aflame as she gently took her hand back. But his sudden confession had her heart clenching and her eyes glistening. After a moments pause she gave him a big hug. "I love you too." She whispered before pulling away. "Stay safe." She gave her best smile, a little wave and turned to leave.

Stefan nods.."I will." He promises..."When you see Julian...and I knwo you will tell him to meet me at the end fo the drive at the front gates at midnight." He syas before turnign from her and getting in his car driving quickly off. he ocudln't stay at theschool. he knew better. It was too risky and they would take him into the covens custody were eh to get caught espeially with the council still there.

Orlaith glanced at him over her shoulder, clasping her hands tightly in front of her. She nodded whilst smiling trying to keep a brave face, but in truth she didn't want him to leave and she didn't want either of the boys to get hurt. Watching him go she left holding back tears. She couldn't stand all this pain.

Orlaith took Julian out of the car hoping that it might sober him up faster, giving him little taps to the face or pinches every now and again, thinking it might speed up the process. "Well if we can't get-" Suddenly her feet felt like she was walking on air and looked down only to see a whole open up beneath them. She screamed as she fell through only to pop up, sitting on her backside looking up at a very ticked off Myles. Myles looked to Lukas with a hard glare before spotting Julian's doped up state, a angry tic appearing along his jaw. "What in gods name are you doing here? What did I tell you." Eyes pin pointed on Lukas, fishing for his supposedly brilliant explanation. "Spit it out."

Lukas steps out of the jeep which was now sitting in the grand foyer, "Well...I mean Iw ans't about to sit back and let you die alone for nothing. Even if the unters come that doens't simply stop a burning form happening Mathew will stop at nothing to ensure Julian dies for some reason he is determined to do it and we aren't goingto sit back and let you fight this alone. Orlaith came of her own accord and she is standing to fight with you nto agianst you, Myles." He explained strongly probably one of the first few ever to stand up to Myles and remain alive long enough to finish.

Myles ground his teeth as he stared down at Lukas, lifting him up by his collar. "I know you moron, I purposely put you three as far away as you could get from the school in a familiar building that I knew you'd be safe in. I'm not blind to Mathews death like determination and I know what you three are like when it comes down to fighting. And you..." He stared at Orlaith. "You can't even fight, so not only will I have to protect my hide I will also have to focus on protecting you, and Julian is now too out of it to focus on anything much but puking and possibly passing out. I'd be lucky to get a dogs response out of him. And you.... " He looked at Lukas. "You were either stupid enough to persuade them or stupid enough to agree to go with them for protection." He grumbled. "Do you really think the odds are in our favour now considering how screwed up they are at the moment?"

lukas glares pushign hismelf out of Myles grip, "Take it easy I'm not the enemy here and on top of that they came of their own accord i told them they could stay safe there, but I wasn't abotu to even think of letting you handle this one alone. Whether the other night meant anytihng to you or not it did mean something to me and I friends or lovers you won't stand alone without me by your side...sorry but that is the way it is. I've been through Hell and back just to keep Julian ready and the mess he made of hismelf is the result of getting out of Hell. Besides Orlaith holds a solution for Julian regardless she may not have told me but it isn't hard for me to read it." He looks at Orlaith. "You have a secret you are keeping and it has something to do with Julian. There is a way out of this for him and it may mark him even greater as dead much like a rogue witch and yet you still choose to keep it silent rather than voice a plan. We are open to anytihng and you have a way to get Julian out of this with no scratches on him." Lukas had the power to read anyone and anything with ease. Her body language the way she spoke allowed him access into ehr thoughts and he knew she was told something by that Stefan guy she has a crush on and something about Julian being involved with him running away. He knew this jsut by looking at her but he could enver fully say it aloud but now seemed like the perfect chance.

Julian leaned against Orlaith giggling childishly with a cheesey grin. "Orla...you didn't tell me I had a way out of this rather than everyone risking their own lives for me....what about Stefan he was sentenced too..." He was not being serious at all about the situation his words slurring together but still understandable to a point.

Myles didn't know what to do with Lukas as he protested and told him that they came of their own accord. Even if they did it was still the worst idea ever. "I still want you lot out of here and back at the shop. Two can't fight and two can those are bad odds." He told him, crossing his arms in irritation. Orlaith looked at Lukas in surprise. "Lukas! How did... " She shook her head knowing she shouldn't even ask. "It might be a way but what life would he have, did you not think he would just come back eventually possibly when Stefan wasn't looking. Did you ever consider if one of his family disappeared or died he would come back. He's unstable and going with Stefan will crack any foundations he already has. I am not keeping him here selfishly, I am balancing out the pros and cons of each situation and right now both have a longer list of cons and both equal death." She told them, wobbling as Julian leaned on her, attempting to keep him upright. "If you two have a smoother idea with more pros than cons then be my guest. Myles knows I am right."

"Stefan? You are tlaking abotu the flameing mouth guy! Oh no he isn't going with him he'd drain poor Julian in an instant if he can't find a victim to feed from. Where si he now?!" He demands. he was almsot over reacting as if he were taking on Myles role in the situation of hating Stefan. "You are letting him go with that incubus at all...That's his secret...I've known it since i met him it wasn't hard to figure out I mena no one has an aura of desire and lust like that guy and I refuse to put Julian in that kind of situation....He is better tied up in an air tight tank at the bottom of the ocean than with him!" Lukas glares at orlaith nearly enraged now. He knew there were deeper feelings there and he knew Myles had odds with the guy. He wasn't baout to let Orlaith come in contact with him again and he was definantly not about to let Julian leave with him. "If the guy has left the coven after beign sentenced to deatha dn torture he will face worse punishments now ebing a Rogue. I won't let you or stefan turn Julian to that life." he says it so strongly one would almsot think he was Myles were it not for the difference in appearance, but his eyes still burned hard liek he was.

Orlaith wondered how much of what she had said that Lukas actually picked up. He seemed to be accusing them of something that they haven't even done yet and it irked her to watch him rant at her like she knew nothing. "Don't you think I know all this! That is why I never said anything to Julian and thanks to you its now out in the open." Myles looked at Orlaith. "Why were you with Stefan in the first place?" He asked skeptically. Orlaith almost wince as she looked down at her shoes. "I may have met someone of importance who I didn't know was important at the time and Stefan may have saved us both." She murmured, knowing she should explain but also knew Myles would explode. Myles looked at Lukas. "We are not handing Julian over to anyone so calm down." He muttered looking at his sister. "What important person?" He asked. ".... Damian." She whispered.

Lukas was really abotu to flip, "You seriously met Damian and fell for his charm and went to his house for dinner? What were you thinking of putting your guard down so easily?! Are you insane? Not to mention the mere fact that you told him what Julian was. We could have ended this by simply saying Julian was a human being held captive as a peace ransom to the hunters..but no you had to go and confess you and Stefan both. You are lucky he showed up when you were about to leave. What good did you accomplish byt elling Damian the hunter about Julian? You really marked him for dead now. There is no hope for the kid. he can't stay here without being judged to burn and he can't go back home without getting a bullet in hsi ehad and he won't be going with stefan unless he wants hsi soul sucked out." He turns to Myles again as if officially understanding hsi overprotective attitude with Orlaith. "I think your sister is great but I'm rteally starting to udnerstand why you try to keep her form havign a life." He turns from them half enraged hismelf now. He was already stressed out enough abotu Myles flippign on him and that was the real issue right now. He was stressed and hurt that Myles actually yelled at him in sucha brutal manner. None of this realyl amttered to him, it was Myles who mattered. But now he coudls ee that was going down the drain. "Listen...you cna settle this mess you guys made on your own. I'm sorry Ic an't be here anymore...jksut put my Jeep back int eh parking lot at least...I'm wlaking home." He syas turning his back to Myles digging in hsi Jeep under the seat for a moemnt.

Orlaith glared at Lukas like he'd just slapped her. "I didn't do anything wrong! I didn't know he was a hunter at first. We had a friendly chat, he offered me a meal and company and I agreed. I didn't realise he was Julian's brother until it was too late. And I didn't blurt anything Stefan did all the talking and considering we couldn't hide it anymore I happened to try and appeal to Damian's better nature and now he thinks we are all horrible people. I tried to tell Stefan not to but he did anyway, for what reason I am not sure." She sighed. "I didn't know." She murmured. Myles gritted his teeth and badly wanted to knock some sense into his sister but she was dull to sensing out danger sometimes. "I don't try and keep her from having a life, I try and protect her from herself there is a difference." He told Lukas. "And you can't leave now. If you were seen entering the school, there may be hunters lying in wait to jump into one of my portals. After that we are screwed. So you can't leave." He told him.

Lukas looked enraged..."You seem to forget I can go wolf and easily jump the fence...no earth portals." He pats Myles cheek lightly only to keep himself from bursting out in tears liek a little girl and hitting him. A blur of something white and in a baggy moves into hsi pocket his hand tight aorund it in his pocket. Lukas turns and slams his jeep door shut. "I'll talk to you guys later." He says turnignhis back to them his hadn tight in his pocket still wrapped aorund what he had stuck in hsi pocket.

Myles wasn't oblivious to what he just saw and knew that Lukas was up to something. He didn't even flinch as he appeared in front of Lukas in the same position he was a moment ago. "Where do you think you are going with a pocket full of drugs? You trying to get yourself skewered by the hunters?" He asked, snatching his hand out of his pocket, revealing the baggy. "I know Julian is young and naive but you, I thought you had more guts and more smarts than to drown your senses?" He asked, letting him go. "You may not want to fight, but don't make me fight for you when you won't fight for yourself."

Lukas rolls his eyes. "Get off." He jerks himself a step back from Myles. "You don't know me and I don't know you. Why not look int he mirror before you start trying to control everyone around you. It's my lfie and I'll do what I want with it. The baggy still in hsi hand. He turns back form him. Like Is aid jsut put my jeep back and I'll come to collect whenever i feel like getting it." He moves around Myles once mroe having no concern any longer for how he felt. his feelings were hurt bad enough. He didn't want Myles to say another word to him as he approached the door.

Myles refused to move the car as Lukas ranted at him like some five year old. "Who are y trying to convince me or yourself? Seems like you are more pup than wolf." He muttered. "Get your own damn jeep back outside. I'm not moving it with that attitude. At least in here you are somewhat safe. So take the initiative and go sulk somewhere quiet." He murmured, turning to Orlaith. "Go to the library and take Julian with you, I don't want you near any main spaces in which might be attacked." He told her, shooing her off.

Lukas took out a cut straw from the baggy and while the drugs were in it he snorted hard until only half of the rock was left. "He sniffs hard and exhales rubbing hsi nostril to make sure he got it all. "Fine I'll go somewhere alright." He says codlly as he walks over tot he ancestory room and opens a window gettign ready to climb out of it.

Julian started ot sober hismelf up a bit, but not by much. "Why can't i stay and fight i have the control adn pwoer now. Papa Legba granted us all with control over our pwoers. I'm able to fight. I mean maybe if I do fihgt MAthew will give me the right to live for deeds tot he Coven." There was a knock on the door and the bell rang like a church bell. Beyond the glass a tall slim yet fit figure blurred by the fragmented door window standing expectantly.

Myles wondered how childish this idiot could get but let him go none the less, it wasn't like he could do much to stop him anyway. It wasn't until Julian spoke up that he really got ticked off. "What in gods name happened that you went to hell!" He snapped, looking at Orlaith. Orlaith winced. "Well its a long story but I don't have control but Julian's right we got wishes, but its not like we are going to use them. We made sure we said so." She told him, looking to the door. Myles narrowed his gaze and then turned to the door. He armed himself by making himself out of rock and opened the door, wondering who the hell was stupid enough to just walk through the door on a lock down.

Stefan stood with a half smile and raised eyebrow ebfore glancing to the side to see lukas rushing otu of the house with a baggy of drugs. "Um, high...rock dude...Mind if I come in?" He asked looking Myles over, btu not entirely recognizing him as a rock man. He ducks udner hsi arm gliding in easily. His aura of calmness seeming to engluf the entire rooma s he entered. "Ah...Julian...Orlaith...I think we have many issues that need to ebworked otu. Julian isn't safe here anymroe and he really won't be with an army on their way of nothing but witch hunters. Come with me. I promsie I'll bring you back before me and Julian actually leave entirely, but I don't want you to get hurt. "His sotthing smile was one thing, but his strong yet gently touch movign to her cheek was a totally different story. His eyes a gentle blue hazed a bit as if frosted and his lips curvign into the perfect smirk of encouragement.

Myles almost growled when he opened the door to reveal Stefan, the annoying little.... He nearly grabbed him by the collar but he was quick and sly as he slipped under his arm. He watched as Lukas dashed out as he closed the door, shaking his head. Orlaith was surprised to find Stefan back at the school at all, in fact she had expected him to have been half way to a different country by now. Myles turned back to normal. "What the hell are you doing here?" He hissed. Orlaith didn't know what to say to his little plan, but he was so enticing he made her blush a little. Averting her gaze she tried to come up with a descent reply. "Where do you want to take me?" She asked, but Myles was having none of it. "Like I'm letting you take her anywhere or Julian for that matter. You can leave a loner and stay that way, out!" He snapped, gesturing to the door.

Stefan was trying to ignore Myles but the out part really messed with him. his eyes turned a sheen of crimson for a moment, "Listen. I get it you don't like me, but Last i checked this school is meant for all witches and warlocks and you don't own it. It is in the ownership of cordelia goode. I won't be pushed around by you, Myles. I'm not your enemy." He explains frustration in his eyes burning with the fire from within, yet a sly and charming smirk still remained. "Julian isn't safe here and neither is your sister. I saw them at the shop and it seemed pretty unsafe given they were followed here by me and a vehicle of hunters. I want to get them as far as possible from here. I don't want to see either of them getting hurt and I know you feel the same way. I'm trying to help, Myls...why can't you accept that. I'm taking them to the voodoo side. They will never think to look for witches on that end." he explains. "Julian glares, "Stefan, your cute, and al, but I don't think you are Myles' type. I'd rather see you safe in one piece than argue with him." He says a bit mroe sober, but the cheesy grin kept perking back up every so often. "I'm really fucked up and I want to fight I don't need protection." He explains.

Myles narrowed his gaze, nails digging into flesh as he gritted his teeth. "Last I checked you were no longer apart of this cover, you may be a warlock but not a part of this coven. So I'm pretty sure if Cordelia or Mathew got a whiff of you, you'd be no more welcome here than any hunter." He told him, looking to Orlaith, knowing she would be stupid and throw away logic. Orlaith's eyes widened. "No! We can't go to the voodoo side, I don't want to go anywhere near the voodoos. Julian is not going anywhere near it either. I'm sorry Stefan, but I've had enough. I don't think I can take anymore. It might have been a good plan a couple of hours ago, but not now." She told him. Myles nodded, but he gave a look to Julian that said otherwise to his comment. "Like you can fight, you might do something stupid and considering how unbalanced your powers are right now, I wouldn't trust them to misfire and to harm their controller instead." He told him, taking a hold or Orlaith, bringing her to his side. "They are staying here. Even if they hide now, it is too late. They will just be tracked until they are forced to fight."

Stefan glares, "Why can't you see I'm on your side. The reason i became a Rogue is because I am wanting to protect myself and Julian from Mathew's wrath. You honestly believe you can fix anything and everything, Myles, but you can't fix your own heart from blocking out your head. You are naive for even thinking that julian is safe here or Orlaith. I am going to the Voodoo side because I have secretly spoken to Queenie she has offered me shelter until this blows over. She doesn't want to see good power wasted to death. She is smart not having a heart. she sold hers to Papa Legba what have you done. Absolutely nothing!" He turns. "You know where to find me if you wis to be free form all of this, Julian." He says before rushing upstairs past Myles. He may get caught but he didn't care e ahd some unfinished business to attend to here.

Julian frowns..."Maybe I will be safer with Stefan. I mean he seems to have a plan nto going off of gut work, but an actual plan. You are right Myles I can't fight in my condition, but I have full control now. Blessed by Papa Legba and one wish to be made. I'm going with stefan maybe I cna use that wish on something other than saving my life if I cna avoid death altogether." He says plainly. He was startign to sober up alot mroe and after hsi experiences here he seemed to mature to an extent.

Myles didn't know what to say to the imbecile. Sure it was a great plan for hiding someone but he didn't think about whether this thing didn't just blow over. If something turned the tables and the hunters started winning then this thing could turn into a war and not just a simple fight to defend the castle and its queen as it were. "You are not using logic here. You haven't come at this from all angles and to be honest your plan is only useful for a moment. It is no longer full proof, nothing around us is. It doesn't matter if we hide, defend or fight, this will come to an unfortunate end for both. There will be no winner." He growled. Orlaith watched Stefan disappear upstairs with a small but sad look. "Julian go with Stefan, but don't fight. Don't use your wish and stay safe." She told him with a sad sort of smile. "Good luck." She murmured, looking to Myles. "We might as well set up a barrier to hold them off for longer." She told Myles, who nodded as they both went in search of supplies.

Julian and Stefan were wlaking down the steps when they saw Damian. "Bro? What are you doing here? Why do you ahve a gun." Stefan reacted sintantly as his soulles expression raises the guna dn begins to fire quickly at them,. Stefan shoves Julian down over the railing of the stairs hitting the floor hard stefan protects Julian htting the floor with hsi back. "Aaahhh!!!" He says turnign on his sides in pain hissing as he was unable to move.

Damian starts runnign up the stairs as if he didn't ahve to kill them. Why there was a jeep int eh middle of the room liek ashow case car he ahd no idea, btu that was of no concern for him.

Orlaith ran in when she heard gun fire, dropping the boards of wood her brother and her had collected to attempt to board up the house. "What happened!?" She called, rushing over. "Are you guys ok?..." Her eyes drifted over the bullet holes embedded in the stairs and realised they must be under attack. "Come on, get up we have to get out of the firing line." Myles came in and saw the situation as knew it was too late to try and shield themselves, it was kill or be killed. He dumped the boards. "Come lets move it we probably only have a minute to get away from this mess."

Stefan was uanble to move as Julian climbed off of him, "He jumped and saved me...it's Damian he came ehre to kill me." He says shock stricken on hsi face as he spoke shakily if eh wasn't sober before he was now. Stefan groaned in pain. Julian seemed scared to death..."It hink he broke hsi spine...He looks at hsi leg seeing a bone sticking out..."And his leg..." He said palinly hating the thought as he felt sick to hsi stomach he wanted to pass out.

Orlaith looked down at Stefan with shaky hands feel a little more than worried as she watched him warily. She was too scared to even attempt to move him but she knew that they had to move or they'd all be turned into swiss cheese. Myles realised Julian's shock and felt sorry for the kid because he realised that up until now he knew Julian didn't believe him when he'd told him about his brother and what hunters were capable of, it was a little sad to watch. He knelt in front of Julian. "Julian calm down, breath, focus, look at me, only at me and breath. We will get through this, don't worry, just follow my lead and things will be ok. Got it?" He asked, looking down at Stefan. "Myles we can't just leave him like this." She whispered. He hated to even think of having to drag the punk along but he knew his sister wouldn't move otherwise. Using what he could floated both board and Stefan and tucked the boards under the kid before letting him lie in the same position against floating planks of wood. "Lets just get him out of here until we can figure something out." He told her.

It was only seconds later that a loud squealing noise like a monitor about to explode sounding throughout the entire house. Every window suddenly blew into smoke as men with guns entered armored heavily and ready to kill. Julian was at least somewhat calm, but when the men came in he jumped in front of the three and shouted out, "Duc eos ad vitae finem in tenebras, ut salutaret inferos. Descensum!!!" Casting his hands at them lightening sparked form hsi fingertips striking each one into a cloud of smoke with burn marks ont eh floor. "I'm already fuckign pissed off...get the hell away form my family!" He said before shouting out again "Descensum!" Leaving the each of their screams as they were cast all into Hell. "Come on where do we have to go?" He asked rage and fury in his eyes he seemed like a dangerous force to be reckoned with.
Stefan groaned in paina s he mumbled out, "Way to get 'em, pal."

Myles was focused on not dropping the idiot that had broken numerous bodily items that when the invasion happened he couldn't react, not if he wanted to burn himself out. Orlaith flinched at the sudden sound and cried out when Julian set men to hell. "Stop, stop! What did I say Julian!" Even though she was sort of strangely proud of him and kind of a bit happy about how he saw them now. She took Julian by the hand. "No more using hell as a means of magic. No more." She told him, tugging him close. "And you stop talking, do you want to injure yourself further?" She asked. "Infirmary for now, they at least have supplies for now, we might as well grab some extra just in case we have another run in. Come on." She lead Julian along with her first, knowing Myles would follow obediently.

Antonio wlaked out into the Grand Foyer with Kim. he was in disbeleif from allt hsi new information. "I can't beleive my own brother tries to kill people for a living. He did all of this...he made all fo thsi ahppen."

"Remember what I said about the cards were dealt eariler. Well fate gave your family a shitty hand...no offense. But what matters now is working through it." Kim said as she lead him to the couch.

Antonio followed and sat beside her. "I jsut wish part of this shit would make some form of sense to me. I can't comprehend any of this. Damian being a human hunter and Julian looking partly dead upstairs...I jsut don't like any of this."
