The Academy for Special Control is an academy for children that possess a special gene called maledictus pulchritudo, meaning "cursed beauty" in Latin. Children with this gene possess strange skills, such as telekinetic powers or majored intelligence. Usually the children are unable to control their skills. Which is why their parents send them to the Academy in Montana. So they can be away from society, supposedly learning to control their powers.
But the Academy does not teach children to hide their powers; they teach them to hide them, to act normal. Secretly run by the government, the Academy works to rid the world of the children by hiding them within them normal. And for years, the children went along with their barbaric, torturous treatments.
But recently, the children have started to rebel. They claim they have a right to their powers. An the Academy is in a crisis.
