Elaine walked through the grounds looking for Legolas to speak with him. She hadn't seen him in awhile and had No idea if he was there or had left.
Emila avoided the entrance to the place, most of the time she avoided it completely. It brought back too many painful memories for her. She heard the crunching of leaves underfoot, and immediately slid an arrow into her bow.
Essa was tromping through in big leather boots, heedless of what she crushed underfoot. She was, after all, banished from Mirkwood. Not that it kept her from it. Being a thief and a murderer had some cons, after all.
Emila leapt in front of the intruder, now in hand. Her face softened when she saw her, and her bow lowered, but only slightly. 'If you plan on intruding, you should not cause so much noise, or come so heavily armed.' She observed glancing disapprovingly at the persons heavy array of weapons.
Emila gave the girl a look of distaste. She did not like being wrong. 'What business do you have here.' She spat. In her mind, she knew she had no business here either, but she felt like this was the old days now. Interrogating anybody who entered her homeland, except it wasn't her homeland anymore.

"I have business that is my own," she teased, strolling through some daisies and stomping mercilessly through them.
The infuriation on Emila's face was obvious. 'Well, I am a guard-' her sentence stops. Her face falls. 'Pass.' She mutters forlornly to whoever this girl was. She didn't care. She was banished and she should learn to accept that, except she never could.
Something inside Emila snapped at that little comment. It shouldn't have affected her, she was trained to withstand it, but she span around and knocked over the stranger. She set a foot upon her chest and glared. No matter how hard she tried to suppress it, orange appeared in her eyes.
Essa smirked, looking straight into Emila's eyes. "So. Was it punching a superior officer? No, wait, lemme guess, you ripped his trachea out? Darned Thranduil needs a taste of that.
Emila allowed a faint shadow of a smile to pull at the corners of her mouth. Thranduil was an idiot. 'As much as I would have liked to have been fired for that reason, it is not either. I-' she faltered as the words formed a lump in her throat and attempted to stuff themselves out of her mouth. 'I killed somebody.'
She did not feel the need to go into the finer details. 'Not necessarily. What is your name?' She asked, not in a suspicious way, but in a genuinely curious way. Something about this girl amused her, perhaps her dark yet hilarious jokes.
((I'm on again.))
"I'm Adanessa," she smiled, toppling the girl on top of her by easily standing up. "And you're wasting the time I want to waste."

((Right I like Adanessa this is totally me XD))'Emila.' Emila paused. The name Adanessa had a familiar ring to it.
((Yep I love the comebacks! ))'That is my business. However, your name is somewhat recognisable. You are not from the courts of Elrond, so you must be from Mirkwood.' She leaned towards Adanessa. 'Unless of course you were banished.'
((So do I. XD))
"I banished Mirkwood from my presence. I'm only gracing it temporarily." She looked through the branches, smiling.

At that moment, the guards heard them. Arrows shot past them, one so close it moved Emila's hair. She ignored whatever the intruder was doing and unsheathed her two daggers.
"Heck, they're really really just incompetently shooting anything out there, aren't they?" she laughed, slipping behind a tree. "Follow me if you want out of their incompetent reach."
She knew it wasn't wise. She knew she could take on the guards. Well she thought she did before an arrow embedded itself in her arm. She hissed, gritted her teeth and ran in the direction Adanessa had gone
Adanessa returned for her. "Okay, come on. They've decided to shoot on their own Elves. Either that, or they've recognized me."
'I knew something was off about you!' Exclaimed Emila. 'But never regard me as one of their elves.' She forced out the last two words.
"First, let's get out of range, secondly, let's patch you up, thirdly, let's actually just... you know, go back and do what I need."
She sighed. What had she gotten herself involved in? To solve number 2, Emila tried a tame healing spell, which was mostly all she trusted herself with. She yanked the arrow out, and the healing spell worked its magic on the shallow cut.
'Who are you really? Why were you banished?' Enquired Emila grabbing Adanessa's arm. 'How do I know I can trust you?' The word trust felt strange in Emila's mouth. Trust was almost foreign to her, other than... him.
"One. I'm Adanessa." She smiled. "Two, I killed someone." She lowered her chin, her forehead shadowing her eyes darkly. "Three, you don't. Let's run."
Emila's breath caught when she heard horse footsteps behind them. She pulled out her bow and started shooting arrows behind her.
Emila leaped to the side- and then fell of the edge of a cliff. She landed on two feet, with a painful 'click'. She looked around for Adanessa.
((Gtg sleep. Not on tomorrow.))
Adanessa ducked in foilage, totally blending in an instant. "Get down!" she hissed.

Emila looked around the forest- and her breath caught in her throat. She leaned a shaky hand against the tree and looked at the leafy ground. They had met here. They had spent all their time together here. He had died near here. Voices swam through her head, of him and her. Her vision became blurry and all she could see was his smiling face, slightly tilted to the side as if he didn't understand something.
"Who knows? Maybe they hate you," she continued on, although she eyed Emilia like the Elf girl was about to throw up.
Probably thought Emila. Why, they shouldn't have ended up here. Eventually, she straightened up, but there was a sadness in her eyes that was beyond mere words of the humans. 'Lets go.' She told the girl and walked off, away from her past
