Madelaine found herself in the heart of the forest. "Hullo?" She called, her curly hair over her shoulders. She was wandering around, completely lost. She had no clue how she got there. All she remembered was taking a walk with her dog, and then darkness..... Now she was here.
((Sure! I guess you can pick....))
((I think we'll start differently than before.))
Anne was twirling her knife between her hands, thinking, but another voice jerked her back to Middle Earth. She narrowed her eyes. It was a girl's voice, and not too far away. "Good Morning." She replied.

Madelaine jerked her headup. She held the straps of her backpack tightly. "Uh.... Goodmorning?" She said as she saw Anne. "Could you mind telling me where I am?" She asked. Madelaibe wore jeans with a loose green t shirt.
Anne sighed audibly. Whoever didn't know where they were in this country were sure to be dead within a few days. "You are in the forest near the Bywater, Hobbiton. In the Shire." She said casually, still fingering the blade. "Are you from Nûmenor, that you don't know your way around. Don't worry, I wish I lived there." Far away from Sauron, she added as an afterthought, but her voice was tinged with slight iciness.
Madelaine tilted her head to the side. "Did you just say Hobbiton? As in Tolkien's Hobbiton? Frodo's Shire? This is surely a dream.." She said shaking her head.
"Tolkien? Who is that? And no, I do not believe Frodo Baggins owns the Shire, but yes, he live here," she said. "Clearly you are not from here..." Suspicion rose in her voice.
Finally, Tauriel set her down. "We are safe, now." The she-elf said. A calm wind passed over the uneven but beautiful landscape of Hobbiton. "Welcome to Hobbiton, home of the little Halflings." Tauriel said.
Anne looked around, hand on her sword-hilt, as she heard a voice. But she soon looked away.

"Halflings?" Tauriel looked at him with a sigh. "You really don't know much, do you?" Her face hardened. "They're half the height of an elf or man. That's why they're called halflings. Or, commonly amongst them, they are called Hobbits."
Tauriel looked at Fiera with a sigh. "No, I didn't. He'll survive, I'm sure."
Anne spun around, a frown on her face at the sound of death. She sighed and rolled her cerulean eyes.

"Rude is the kindest thing you'll get from a lot of people at a time like this," a different voice called.

Fiera pushed at Tauriel. "What, and he's expendable and I'm not?!" She seemed upset. Having been sucked from her world, saved, and then unable to save that guy.
"Well if you have an entire race called halflings, that name didn't happen "at a time like this."" he said to the new voice.
"He is from this world!" Tauriel snapped. "You, on the other hand, are not."
Anne let out an exasperated groan. "I shan't expand."

Anne looked at the red-haired girl. "And… you're clearly not from here either." She raised an eyebrow, her tone and eyes cold.
Tauriel didn't reply, just set her jaw.
Tauriel didn't reply, just set her jaw.
"Of course I'm not!" She pointed at her get up, backpack and clothes and all. "I'm from the second star to the right, and straight on til morning," she said, very sarcastically, and fell down and sobbed into her hands, confused.
((Nice reference ^-^))
Anne sighed. "Why are you crying? There's no reason to cry." her brow furrowed. She looked at Tauriel. "Elves. Elves and elves and elves. Why?"
Tauriel looked at her, confused. "Beg your pardon?"

Tauriel looked at her, confused. "Beg your pardon?"
"Why are you both here?" Anne asked them. "Clearly you've been to Mordor, and your signs of affection and stress show you're not from here."
Tauriel frowned at her. "How did you know that?"
"The orc blood on your shoes. It's still fresh- and drying. WHen orc blood dries it always holds a certain viscosity."

"I just left my brother about to be swarmed by New Zealand police, and here I am in a mystical world of magic and wonder! I want to go home and not accidentally bring about random passerby's deaths!"
"Of course it does!" Tauriel sighed. "Without me, you would have both died. You're unarmed, inexperienced, and you don't know your way around."

Tauriel groaned. "He is not going to die, for the hundredth time! He has powers! He's experienced!"
Anne frowned again, her hand still on her sword hilt. "What in the whole of Middle Earth is New Zealand?"

"Stop trying to argue against me. I'm an elf."
Anne rolled her eyes. "Elves. They think they know everything."

"The pope? What is that, some sort of beverage?" Tauriel demanded, ignoring Anne. "Either way, you two need to go back. It is not in our nature to watch those who can't survive die."

Anne looked up at Fiera's statement. "I was separated from my brother when I was twelve, so don't think you're the only one. At least we might be able to get you back."

"No, it's a person, and if you don't know that then it's out of your realm of knowledge, and you should just leave us alone!" he said. "and we can't "get back" either."
"It's a magical land of unicorns and fairies with loads of lovely young maidens in white and stunning knights," she retorted at Anne. "And does an Elf really get to use that? I think saying you win because you're an Elf is an arguing fallacy. There's got to be something about it in my textbooks."
((I really want to make a silver dragon just to upstage the whole I'm an elf thing :)))((Please miss Sarah?!))
"Nonsense. That's children's fantasies. Nothing like that exists." Anne said.
"Listen to me! Do you have any idea where you are?!" Tauriel exclaimed loudly, almost shouting.

"You're right," she said, "Absolutely right, congratulations to the only genius here who isn't an Elf!" More sarcasm spilt from her angsty lips. She glared at Tauriel. "Apparently I've entered this book," she said, reaching into her back pack and slapping a copy of the Fellowship of the ring into her hand. She had the others buried under her clothes, she'd been reading them to Toby. "I'm absolutely bonkers."
((Mr. Rock has three dragons, upstage that!))
"No, by why does it matter, it's out of your relm to care for so long," he snorted.

"I never implied that I was a genius," Anne replied. "I just- oh? What's this? A book-" She frowned at it.
Tauriel muttered something in elvish.
"Leave then, if you find this ridiculous," Anne said to Tauriel, as she examined the cover of the book.
"You understood that?"
"Of course I did." Anne looked up to watch Tauriel, amused in her eyes. "You're not the only one fluent in Sindarin. Now, let's see." She opened up the book. "The Fellowship of the Ring," she read out loud, "by J.R.R Tolkien. Tolkien? Oh, I see. He was an author, then." She muttered.

"We all fight a greater foe. If you two start arguing with me, everything shall cave in and alliances shall be broken." Tauriel snapped.
