Leanna was SO bored. Her mom had to win a contest. To go where? New Zealand, of all places. There wasn't even a decent WiFi connection out in this place. This was where they filmed mystical magical super helpful Elves. SOOO dull. Her dad was super obsessed, but she was super repelled. Something caught her eye from beyond a wooden bridge. "Hey, I'm just gonna check something out, be back in like five, Dad," she said, as her mother snapped pictures with their clunky family video camera.
"Okay, Sweetie," he said, reading a plaque absentmindedly, "Don't get lost, stay in sight."
She walked into the forest. She'd sworn she'd seen something shiny. Her dad called her 'Magpie' for her sharp eyes. And it sort of fit now that she was looking for shiny treasure, more out of boredom than anything else. After about a minute of walking, she got out of sight of the tour group. She thought of her father's command to stay close, but heck, he was way to overprotective. They were just around that bend. Anyhow, the glimmer had come from somewhere around here. Leanna turned around to look at the trees and the like, and a shaft of reflected light shot up into her face. She threw up a hand, tripped over a root, and...
Ow. Her hand hurt, a lot. She looked at it. Just a cut, nothing too bad. But then she was spinning. No. She was holding still, and the world was spinning. And fading! The world was VANISHING! Leanna shrieked loudly, falling to her knees and pulling her arms over her head.
Lublubdubdub.
It was her heartbeat. But there was someone else's as well.
Lublubdubdub.
No, it was her heartbeat, the only thing she could hear. But it was like it was echoing in her chest, or like she had two hearts instead of one. Then the beats seemed to overlap, as if they were compatible and had merely decided a moment ago.
Lub. Dub.

It was a sort of finality that was met with an eerie silence. She peeked between her fingers. The forest was gone! What had happened, some drug trip? She'd screamed, her dad would find her and get her to the hospital. But this seemed so real... It couldn't be a hallucination. Her hand throbbed, bloody all over her shirt. "Mom?" she called. "Dad?"

Vesyir had ran all the way to Rohon in search of Toby. As she ran across the world, still almost no sweat had touched her face she spotted a lizzardly beast in the air, heading for her. She skidded to a halt as the dragon landed in front of her. "Hello," the dragon said, "I am here to collect-"
"HAVE YOU SEEN A BOY? ABOUT YAY HIGH? LITTLE? POSSIBLY MAGIC?" she asked almost to quickly to catch. The dragon held a level head, "Ms-"
"HAVE YOU?"
The dragon sighed. Keeping his inner desires to just rip her head off to himself. As he tried to speak again a loud thud came in between them as a girl magically fell in front of them. The looked at each other in sheer confusion, but before long the girl stirred, yelling for her parents. "Calm down young one," The dragon said. "Yeah- wait awwwww she'd like a baby compared to us!" Vesyir laughed.

She looked around. There was a girl. "Hey can you help-" There was the comment about being a baby. "I am not! Now stop it! I am freaked out, I am distraught, and where am I?" she asked. Then she turned around and faced the dragon. "AAAAHHHGGGRRRH!!!" She backed up and turned sharply, running. "Worst! Day! EVER!" Thank you, Mom, for insisting on the road trip.

The dragon tried to spea-"Oh no! I need to ask her if she saw the kid!" She said as she chased after the girl, easily catching up as the dragon followed as well. Pure peeved coming off of him.

Leanna slammed to a stop, going head over heels and landing in grain. A crass snake wriggled away and she shrieked. "SNAKE! That's a snake!"

"Yeah, snakes are cool, but I like birds better," she said with a smile. The dragon landed behind them, anger shown on his face. He would not let them run away.

She freaked out. "THAT'S A DRAGON!"

"Yeah it is!" She said excitedly."Yes, I am Tatsuo," the dragon said in a almost roaring growl. "Now you will give me your accommodations if you wish to live!"

"My... Accommodations? What? And I totally wish to live, don't get me wrong," she said, lifting her hands above her head.

"A bargain, or deal," the dragon growled. Putting out his hand for gold or some form of the like.

"A deal... For my life?" she asked, pulling out her wallet and dropping a credit card into his hand. "I hope you have a bank account."

The card was crushed into nothing. "Do not play games with me!" he growled.

She backed up. "Hey! Hey- um- I don't- I don't have what you want?" she asked, confused. "What did I do?"

"gold, silver!" He roared. "OHHHH that stuff! I don't have any!" Vesyir said.

"I have my dead grandma's ring..."

"It's better than nothing," he sighed. Smoke bellowing out of his nose in his loss of faith in them.

"Yeah. It kind of is, and I'm not giving it up to a dragon who wants to kill me. My dad's going to come and wake me up, bet you anything!"

"Wake you up?" they both asked in confusion.

"This isn't real!"

They both laughed. " she thinks she's so special that this world only lives because of her?" Vesyir laughed. " Yes, perhaps we should prove her wrong," Tatsuo said in a tone that showed mal intentions.

"Um..." Her eyes darted from one to the other. "I'm good. This world exists with or without me, it totally isn't a figment of my deranged imagination. Wheee..."

"I don't need your sass," the dragon growled.

"It's not sass!" she gulped, backing up slowly, reminded again and again that she was a horrible liar. But death was a good incentive. "I was just teleported to dragon land and fairy place...."

"I am not a fairy," Vesyir said with crossed arms. "Yes, well I guess you both have ill luck for coming here," he said.

"Okay, so you're a human. Got it," she whispered, having added the 'fairy' bit out of her startledness. "Ill luck? Or I could befriend you and ride on your back with my hair blowing in the wind and we could be best pals?"

"I'm not a human either," Vesyir said with crossed arms. Tatsuo gave her a big, "Really?" look, and the got his mouth ready to shoot fire at her.

"Whatever," she said, then looked up in fear at the dragon. "Is... That a no?"

He nodded, before shooting fire at her.

She screamed and rolled off to the side. "Look! I don't know what you want, okay? I'm sorry?"

"Well you shouldn't have insulted him!" Vesyir said, retreating away to not get burned. Tatsuo just shot fire at the annoying girl.

"How did I insult- AHHHGGGGHH!!" She dodged, but was a bit too late, totally getting a Zuko scar on the side of her face.

((then what do I do?))

She dodged and ran up to the dragon and grabbed onto one of his claws, trying to get onto his back, where fire hopefully wouldn't reach her. "I'LL GIVE YOU MY GRANDMA'S RING!!!"

"You have sealed your fate when you tried to ride me!" he roared.

"Is my fate a dragon rider?" she asked, totally holding onto his scales for dear life.

His arm came up, trying to swat at her. Fire now useless at the angled. ((where is she close to?))

((His shoulder ish))

She gave a little yelp. "STOP! Right now!"

"I do not listen to you girl!" he said as a hind leg came up to swat at her.like a dog.

She let go of his leg, abandoning the dragon rider idea and ran the other way.

Vesir hid as the dragon still chased after the girl, but then stopped. He shouldn't give such attention to such a small thing. He turned away, and flew off.

She flopped in the grass. "Oh my gosh..."

Vesyir poked her head out as she looked for the girl," Hello? Are you still alive?" she called out.

"Very much so!" she called, after a thorough inspection of herself.

"Wonderful! Have you seen this kid... uh hesss... Umm..." she trailed off.

She stood up, wiping her forehead. "A kid? Did you lose your son?"

"No, it's someones else's ... I think... All I remember is that it wasn't mine...." she sighed.

"That's really helpful," she said sarcastically.
