Argentum flew over quick as ever, barely able to be seen unless someone had excellent eyes, say an elf. His scales making him look like a flying piece of platinum.
Legolas couched amid the leafy trees of Fangorn Forest, relishing the smell of pine and all things belonging to the woods. The Fangorn Forest was not as plentiful as the Mirkwood, and certainly not as great as the forests that bordered the hills and the valleys of the Misty mountains or those that bordered the Shire.
((Lets try again))Argent landed as he knew he smelled elves and he followed his smell to the pair, having issue with his size.
Legolas murmured something under his breath as he stayed still, his slotted cerulean eyes carefully wandering over the trees. The Forest was old, yes, her thought as he pressed his smooth and flawless face to the side of the trunk, lichen crumbling under his touch and landing on his breeches, only to be brushed off by his long-fingered hand. It was very old indeed. Much, much more ancient than the trees of Mirkwood. He sensed another form of life. Something large- potentially dangerous. And something... Something lesser. Carefully, the young prince lifted his loaded weapon, ready should anything happen. And he crouched still... And listened.
Argent took another deep breath as he knew where the two were and no doubt so did they as he may be light for a dragon but his armored feet still made quite the rumble as he stepped to find the male scent first because it was closer.
((Uh I broke my own order XD I just post right quick to set it right))Argent heard and smelled as well saw flashes of movement and he came up behind the woman with a bow drawn. "I don't think holding a bow to a prince is a wise decision dear" he said in his deep rumbling voice.
((Yep.))
"I should be asking you the same question," Legolas answered smoothly, his arrow already drawn back. Out of the corner of his cerulean eyes, the elf could see the fletching of the arrow as it moved with every breath, the soft rims of the owl-feathers tickling his lips. They had been used for silent flight, as was the logic of the Mirkwood elves, and many a time and oft people had considered Thranduil's people to have a more dominating trait of recklessness over wisdom. The elves of Loríen were different- in fact, quite the opposite....
Legolas could feel the string lightly diggin into the skin underneath his cheekbones as he pulled back as far as possible, training the sharp flint point directly on the jugular if the silver-haired elf. He would release the arrow should he need to, and he knew that one pierced of the jugular and she'd bleed her life out before the sun ha begun to set.

"Like his arrow would do anything but skip across my titanium scales but I don't like the taste of human anyway" Argent said his tone rougher then usual as he was a bit irritated at the moment. He looked to the elf prince as to say 'fire and so will I'
Legolas, on the other hand, did not lower his arrow, his cerulean eyes drifting over to the dragon and looking at it with a certain, sardonic humour in his irises. The young prince's jaw was set, his countenance stony, his eyes mocking and his posture tense and yet nonchalant. The elf's ears twitched slightly from underneath his long whitish-blonde tresses, and you could tell that he was sure footed in the forest. It was a long while before he finally spoke. "It is not in your place, dragon, to publicly display my status." His voice was icy, commanding, yet not cruel but foreboding. "You do not intimidate me," he continued smoothly. "Dragon. And neither do you, elf."
"I was an adult before even your father was a thought Legolas, learn to respect your elders as well ones who can turn you into nothing more then a pile of smoldering ash" Argent growled out as he was in no mood for this form of being talked to. He stared back and narrowed his silver slit eyes to barely a line as well kneading his claws onto the dirt in annoyance.
Legolas didn't flinch or show any reaction tot he threat posed. He just mused, a small smirk forming on his thin lips, "as I have already bothered pointing out, you do not frighten me, dragon. "Learn to respect your elders, you say!" He watched the dragon with a dancing glimmer in his deep azure eyes. "You are not my elder, dragon. My father is, as are the oldest and wise at of my kin. King of the Mirkwood, he is, and he wears the title proud. Alas, he does not see past my ambitions, but never mind that." A light frown creased his brow. "An east wind draws near," he whispered in Sindarin. "The leaves have told me." The words flowed out of his mouth in the strange language, clear as still water and smooth as a river over round stones. The dragonglass head of his nocked arrow glinted fully in the red light of a rising sun.
"Yes dear boy I am older then this dark tyrant your father thinks hiding from will solve the issue" Argent said getting closer to shooting a bolt of lightning at for his insolence. "SO hold your tongue before you try barking at the bigger power" he said in a rumbling tone. "Interesting how the parents hold the leash" Argent said back in an older tongue of elven.
Legolas watched the bolt of brilliant light flare past him, missing him by a hair's breadth. His expression turned stony and cold, no longer mocking or amused. "I am not my father, and I do not dictate his speech. He does as he thinks is best for his people. As I have already told you, my father does not see past the issues and through to the greater things." He gave a shrug, and put away the arrow, the obsidian arrowhead clinking lightly as he placed it amongst its brothers in his leather quiver. "You mean, interesting how 'the parent' holds the leash." He said in Sindarin again.
"I know you have no mother, but forgive my mood" he said realizing how he had been acting even with the boys speech. "I usually am a better being than to cut one down for forgetting manners" he said with a sigh.
Argent eyes sparkled with a happy hue again and the slits widened at her intelligent and quite accurate words. He took a deep breath and looked back to the girl. "I am one of the few of my race who likes company, Argentum, The Flash" he said calmly again and dipped his head a little to show respect where Legolas hadn't. "And what might be the name to match the grace of your form?" he asked inquisitively.
"Argentum, The Flash if we be exchanging titles, a true pleasure to meet you Rhoswen" he said his voice now a level rumbling one instead of the irritated and easily angered one as before though both said he had seen a thousand of the prince's lives. He stared back into her pools of azure as they held a certain quality he saw in a very few beings.
((It's fine stayed up all night but still ok))Argent gave his reptilian smile at the compliment as she hadn't noticed yet he was a small measure smaller than usual dragons as he was made to be fast as were the brilliant silver plates that made his scales and armor, even his maw had two spikes to streamline the air back. "It is fine but now I lay not near here, between rivendell and Bree but I needed a change in location as even dragons feel" he said not going into more detail in front of one who hadn't earned his softer side.
Legolas sucked lightly on his lips as he pursed them together, lowering his bow as he watched the elf and the dragon converse. The dragon was suspicious to the Prince, for after his small part in the ordeal with Smaug the Terrifying in. Erebor, he had never felt like dragons would ever be on his good side.
Argent looked back to Legolas as he lowered his bow, only raising a reptilian brow in response to his facial expression. "I am nothing like Smaug" he said reading the man easily.
"I never said you were like the beast, but then again, it seems the logical assumption." He replied with nonchalance in his voice. His eyes flickered over the dragon's face with a cold look.
"And dragons are not classified in the kind section of living things..." Legolas replied calmly. "You have my sincere condolences," he continued with a dramatic flair to his voice.
"That does not go entirely without fault... My father is prideful, though he cares a lot for his own people.." Legolas said with a smirk .
"I suppose one can only see hi own ways" Argent said with a giant shrug and scratched his nose a little.
Legolas made a slightly twisted face. "Ah, despite the fact that his scales are impenetrable by all weapons dave a black arrow, I would not count on it that I could not kill him right now," he said slyly, his fingers twitching around the grip of his bow as he held it.
