Charlotte Jones (ramblingsofanelfpire) I've found recently that although I'm really getting into reading classics, there are just so many out there that I can't seem to narrow it down to the ones to try first! The goodreads ratings tend to be high on most so I can't really narrow it down that way so I though what better way than to just ask people?

So have you got any classics that you think are accessible and enjoyable that are worth a read?

Charlotte Jones (ramblingsofanelfpire) I'd like to recommend The Painted Veil by W. Somerset Maugham.
I'm currently reading it and it is by far one of the most accessible and least intimidating classics I've ever read. The characters are flawed, which I like, and the setting (China) is unique for this type of novel I think =)

Charlotte Jones (ramblingsofanelfpire) I own David Copperfield so I'll be getting around to that at some point this year hopefully =)
