So far I've been reading mostly school textbooks : ) but I've also read the newest Maria V Snyder book, Storm Glass and Shoot the Moon by Billie Letts.
I've also just started reading Some Day You'll Thank Me for This: The Official Southern Ladies' Guide to Being a Perfect Mother. These ladies are hilarious.

Elizabeth, my friend just read Water for Elephants the on plane to and from Paris. When he got back, literally the first he told me about his trip was how much he loved the book. Now his wife is reading it.

I am reading East of Eden (Steinbeck),
In the Heart of the Sea (Philbrick) and
Talisman & Fingerprints of the Gods(Hancock).
I am still trying to finish Something Borrowed (sorry can't remember the author right now) for First Reads.
