Nicole Not sure if this is the right genre for this (I'm never really sure what genre zombies fit into). Apologies if it is not. Has anyone read the Quarantined series by Tracey Ward?

Until the End (Quarantined, #1) by Tracey Ward In the End (Quarantined #2) by Tracey Ward

A great story about two neighbours Jordan and Alissa trying to survive in a zombie outbreak. The fact that Alissa suffers from a severe mental illness makes their situation even more dangerous.

Kristen (kristennoel) Ahh! I love this series. It definitely comes recommended by me to any fans of zombies. (And even if you aren't a zombie fan!) Have you read the sister series to it? I just finished Backs Against the Wall, and I can't wait to post my review!

Side note -- Nicole, Moss as your avi made my night!

Nicole Thanks Kristen! There's a sister series? I didn't know that. I'll have to check it out.

message 6: by Kristen (new)

Kristen (kristennoel) Yes, and it's amazing too! It's called the Survival Series. It's a bit different than Quarantined, but I do believe you'll like it!

Nicole Do any of the charcters from Quarantined make cameos?

Not that I've seen tho I wonder if the Survivor books exist in the me universe or one slightly parallel.

message 9: by Kristen (new)

Kristen (kristennoel) I don't recall noticing any characters crossing over. The whole spreading of the fever and location are what's similar. Events from the series are mentioned in the others, etc.

Survivors takes place about 15 years after the outbreak, I think, so if they're all set in the same universe then those Quarantine college are much older!

message 12: by Brittney (new)

Brittney I've had them on my to reads list for a bit now. I can't wait to read them. I didn't know that they were connected to the other series though. Glad I found out before I started them!
