Favorite Bible Book
You probably already know this, but I love the book of Romans. I also love Revelations. :) Romans has such a clear message of the gospel, and I love Paul's writings. And Revelations is epic! ;)
In the Old Testament, I think my favorite is Esther, followed closely by the Psalms. And I really like John, Acts, & Romans in the New Testament, as well as several of Paul's letters.
Roman is my favorite book of the bible although the whole new testament in general is my favorite because of the chronicles of Jesus's life and the help that it gives me. I also love Genesis as it is the Beginning!
I thought that there was no way I could pick a favorite book, but then I realized that Genesis is my favorite. I like the story of creation, Adam and Eve getting to walk with God in the garden, and the history of early man.
My favorite books of the bible are First and Second Samuel, Judges, John and James. First and Second Samuel because I have a interest in Israel's history during the time of David and it also has (or at least for the first book) that adventures feel but with the fact it actually happened. Judges for the all the judges themselves being interesting people and also to the fact this is the book you point someone to if they think the bible is just a kiddie book. John for how hopeful it is and how it shows Jesus great love for all of us. James because of how practical and even frank it is.
Ohhh Christine that's awesome!!!! The first and historic book of the Bible there :D Genesis covers more history than all the other books of the Bible does combined!
@Thomas- Those are terrific!! Those have so many stories and adventures!!! Those books there have such intensity and violence, although it was necessary in the history!! Great (:
