“A man can no more diminish God's glory by refusing to worship Him than a lunatic can put out the sun by scribbling the word 'darkness' on the walls of his cell.” ~C.S. Lewis
Peace. It does not mean being in a place where there is no noise, trouble, or heartache. It means being in the midst of those things and still being calm in your heart.

"You were never meant to face God-size challenges with human-size strength and willpower."
I heard a guy on the radio say that the other day & just loved it! :)

"The more the world is about you, the angrier and tired you will be. And the more that it's not about you, the freer you are." -Matt Chandler
I love it too. It is such a good reminder to stop focusing on yourself and instead reach out and do things for others. I have a great aunt that is so amazing in this way. “Love is that condition in which the happiness of another person is essential to your own.” ― Robert A. Heinlein

That's a great one.
Well... I was writing today and these lyrics came back to mind...I've been scraping little shavings off my ration of light
And I've formed it into a ball, and each time I pack a bit more onto it
I make a bowl of my hands and I scoop it from its secret cache
Under a loose board in the floor
And I blow across it and I send it to you
Against those moments when
The darkness blows under your door
Isn't that what friends are for?
- Bruce Cockburn
