Arbaaz Khan (arbaazkhan1999) | 588 comments I know you don't but is there anything I should be aware of while reading vampire academy? any R scenes?

Nothing at all....go ahead with it! Maybe 1/2 scenes are there...that too in later books...u should read it!!! Awesome books!!

message 7: by Arbaaz (new)

Arbaaz Khan (arbaazkhan1999) | 588 comments okay okay but I think the covers will probably get my parents attention.

yeah maybe...read the ebooks then

message 9: by Roseanne (new)

Roseanne I know I am going to be in the minority here but I just don't understand the hype with these books. The last vampire book I read was by Anne Rice 20 years ago. I don't think the authors that write these books today can compare with the work of Anne Rice

Arbaaz Khan (arbaazkhan1999) | 588 comments seriously? she is that good? well, I have a paperback (my cousin's) of it but it is a mixed volume. I mean the book have a pack of the series but isn't in the order. is the vampire chronicles have to be read in any order or they are all just some different stories?

message 11: by Roseanne (new)

Roseanne Interview with a Vampire is the first one. They all overlap and each book is from a different character's viewpoint. I liked the Vampire Lestat the best that is the second book. I read them in order.

message 12: by Arbaaz (new)

Arbaaz Khan (arbaazkhan1999) | 588 comments so is it important that you read all the books in order? my cousin love the interview with the vampire movie (I don't know if he like the novel or not) and my sister as well, I heard that in the movie the main character is played by brad Pitt right? then it is awesome I think. he also look like a vampire by the way, vampires are sexy ;-) by the way how old are you anyway?

message 13: by Roseanne (new)

Roseanne yes it was Brad Pitt and Lestat was played by Tom Cruise. The movie was great and I don't normally like the movie when I have read the book. It you can read them in order I would but read Interview with a vampire first and then the vampire lestat. Each is told from the point of view of a different person and there is overlap in the story. btw I am old enough that I saw the movie in a movie theater when it was originally released with my friends.

message 14: by Arbaaz (new)

Arbaaz Khan (arbaazkhan1999) | 588 comments oh, how old are you?

message 15: by Maira (new)

Maira | 25 comments The morganville Vampires series By Rachel Caine! The best series when it comes to vampires. It is for teens and is Soooo Much fun to read that i couldn't put the books down. One after an other i have read their book. They are that good. I love all the characters present in the series.

message 16: by Arbaaz (new)

Arbaaz Khan (arbaazkhan1999) | 588 comments but there are two volumes of it!

message 17: by Maira (new)

Maira | 25 comments Yup. But it is so worth it.

message 18: by Arbaaz (new)

Arbaaz Khan (arbaazkhan1999) | 588 comments okay then, they were in the bookstore when I last visited the store. but unfortunately the whole vol 1 was sold :-(

message 19: by Maira (new)

Maira | 25 comments Awwww....How unlucky. I canvassed every book store in my city but couldn't find even one part of the series so i had to read it in eBook form.

message 20: by Arbaaz (new)

Arbaaz Khan (arbaazkhan1999) | 588 comments yeah, but you could give them the details so when the next stock comes you could buy them.

message 21: by Arbaaz (new)

Arbaaz Khan (arbaazkhan1999) | 588 comments and do you have any horror werewolve fiction? please don't recemend anything like "a werewolve falls in love with a human.." or any teen-ish version of it. I know it feels a little weird that a teenager is saying that stuff but I am really in need of a goosebump chilling horror fiction of a werewolve.

message 22: by Suzie (new)

Suzie | 11 comments Black Dagger brotherhood is a very good series for an adult.. The immortals after dark series has vampires in it but isn't solely focused on them. The House of Night is also a good twist on a vampire story, although I haven't been able to get back to reading the last one that was released..

message 23: by Arbaaz (new)

Arbaaz Khan (arbaazkhan1999) | 588 comments Is the black dagger brotherhood R rated?

message 24: by Megan (new)

Megan (megandurrence) | 22 comments I agree that Morganville is the best vampire series out there!

A Bite's Tale has vamps and werewolves. A paranormal twist on the Cinderella story everyone is familiar with. It's a fast read and really good.

Vampire Kisses is a sweet vampire series that follows a Gothic girl that has her dreams come true when there appears to be vampires in her annoyingly perfect town.

Captured is a post-apocolyptic world run by vampires. Aria is a human that is taken as a slave to the mysterious vampire prince, Braith. Really interesting series.

This sounds good. It is going on the TBR list.

Erin *Proud Book Hoarder* (erinpaperbackstash) Great Michael, hope you enjoy it. His writing is beautiful and it's a different kind of story.
