Book just came in today. Will catch up with others in a few days.I do my pondering of events in the latter part of December, not in the fall. I also keep a journal and a few years ago started interspersing my perspectives with world wide events that help fill in the context of where I am and what i am doing.
As I'm reading through the first chapters I've been thinking about how modern technology may be speeding up the pendulum. It would make sense that changes and shifts in society would occur faster since the means to communicate is so much stronger.

What traits do you see exhibited today?
Honestly I'm still trying to internalize the principles. Hoping the following chapters can create some clarity for me.
If the author is correct we are halfway down the swing toward me. What new literature seems to reflect this? How about our music? Technology leading edges seem to be nanotechnology, 3D printing, autonomous vehicles, and after Arab Spring reconstructions. What does all of this suggest? What me efforts should we be moving deliberately toward?
I have to admit that I am always leery of a book where the number of endorsement pages greatly outnumber the number of pages for notes on the chapters or the index for the entire book. I am more than halfway through the book and sadly it is living down to my expectations.
