Well, we've reached the 25th book in the Discworld series, so hurray for us!

This time around, we'll be exploring freedom of the press, Pratchett-style.

This may be a nostalgic look at a time when cities were big enough to support TWO newspapers, reporters roamed around looking for a big scoop and the printed word could make or break someone's reputation.

Or it may not. I haven't read it yet.

Either way, I'm sure we'll be entertained and enlightened, or at least distracted for a while.

Well, I've downloaded it. Now to transfer to the Nook and think about reading (got a few things that need to come first. But I'll get there by and by).

Zack | 35 comments Pin and Tulip remind me alot of Croup and Vandemar from Neil Gaimans "Nevewhere"

Well, I thought this was a most enjoyable entry in the series. Normally I'm not nuts about having so many NEW characters thrown at me, but I liked this crew quite a bit. (I've heard from friends that many of them return in later novels, so I'm looking forward to THAT.)

I liked Pin and Tulip, too. Have you noticed that Discworld villains, like Teatime from Hogfather, tend not to last very long?
