I only finished 5 books of this challenge in February, the last one only today. At the moment I can't find the concentration to read as much as I want to. :(There are some books in my pile that I want to read next but they do not match the challenge.
So I think I will pass this month. Next month I am in again.
For some reason, the category of "Everything you Think is Wrong Day" made two books immediately pop into my mind, so I'll mention them here in case they're sitting on anyone's TBR pile waiting to be picked up.The first one I'm reading now: Death, Taxes, and Green Tea Ice Cream
the other one, I read last year: Lucky Stiff
both of these characters have no good, horrible, Very Bad Days. Happy challenge to everyone participating. :)
I will try, but we are out of town for a week so who knows, thanks Jennifer for the tip on Death taxes....Mar 2 - Old Stuff Day Read either the oldest cozy mystery on your TBR list/shelf (virtual here on GRs or physical shelf at home), or read a cozy author that had their book published before 1900.Brownies and BroomsticksBailey Cates

I'm in.Old Stuff Day is the most challenging one for me. The oldest cozies on my GR list are later in a series where I haven't read earlier ones and I have no idea which is the oldest cozy in my physical TBR. I'll try to find a cozy pre-1900 - Does Sherlock Holmes qualify as a cozy read?

Whew, glad to see the book I am currently reading, The Mark of Athena, will fit one of the March challenges, seeing as how it is almost 600 pages. Only about a quarter into it, and so far our heroes have had nothing but a string of bad luck (which is actually par for the series, LOL).

Yes Nell, Sherlock Holmes is fine.
I'd say any of the classic authors would qualify, even though Poe isn't "cozy". However, they defined the mystery genre and are considered classics.

Oh, I think I misunderstood the use of the word "oldest" -- I went through my GR to-read shelf and picked out The Dorrington Deed-Box since it was first published in 1897.
Leslie - I think it can be either the oldest book on your shelf or a book before 1900. I just went with on my shelf!Of course maybe I misunderstood. I was thinking the longest sitting book on my shelf, not necessarily publication date
I found a cozy mystery (in a box in a closet) that I picked up at an annual library sale in a town where I used to live. It's been in my physical TBR since 1997!! Is there a bonus for really old stuff? :D
wow Nell! I'm sure I have some books that have been on my shelf for a long time but probably not that long!
