So this is somewhere people who have read this series can talk freely about it without the worry of spoilers (no one at risk of spoilers should be reading this topic).

So have you made a decision between Will and Jem with Tessa? I'm stuck, cos I believe that she loved Will and they were perfect, but because of his 'curse' he turned her away. She thought of Jem as a friend but gradually they got closer and became boyfriend and girlfriend. I believe Tessa didn't actually want to take it further but Jem was lovely and a dying man so she felt forced into it. Then she found out Will didn't have a curse and felt really upset cos it turned out he loved her but she was engaged and she couldn't turn Jem down because: 1, he was dying; 2, she cared for him just not that way; and 3, it would be just awful to turn someone down and go to their best friend. So I think she and Will match eachother, but feel awful for Jem. What do you think?


Also what did you guys think about Jem at the end when he stopped being a Silent Brother! I was so happy!!! It meant that because Will had died a long time before, she could now be with Jen for a bit until he passed! That meant everyone was happy!

Also, I am wondering how immortality works. I mean some immortal people are stuck at one age whilst others are stuck at another. I understand vampires, as they stay at the age they become a vampire, but what about Warlocks?

I don't understand the immortality thing either. Why do they grow up to a certain age and then stop? What age? Why is it different for everyone?
