There are two covers. The most common one has what I identify as stairs (entryway to rowhouse) on the very far left. You can see a close up on Amazon.
If that cover does not work, I can try to find the alternate cover which clearly has stairs.

I don't think those are stairs- there's no doorway larger image I think it is a wall or foundation.
The other cover does have stairs. You would need to read an edition with that cover

It is a bit hard to see, but on the cover you see a long line of people climbing all the way to the top of the mountain. It is impossible to tell of those sloping paths have steps, but I assume they do because the upper part of the mountain is very steep. I do not think you can climb that upper path without steps.

If you can find an image where the steps can be seen, I'll consider it, but at that resolution that cover does not show stairs

I'm asking mostly because I didn't realize they were there until it was pointed out, and also because there are only two of them. lol. One step away from just being "a step".
